Ten justifications that keep you from starting your own business

You definitely know this boring human model that keeps some money without a goal, and is desperate not to waste it, even if the earth and those on it are removed.

He tells you while he coughs and spits - always this example coughs and spits - that he wants to invest this money in a project .. but he is afraid .. anxious .. Just thinking about spending his money and starting a small business, makes him crazy.

You sit with him, and you try to discuss his justifications that prevent him from starting the business ... He tells you a lot of them .. so much .. so that you personally feel that despair has crept into your soul, and you start to reconsider the concept of suicide, and that it is never as bad as you expected ..

Justifications .. justifications .. many foolish justifications that prevent this person, prevent you, prevent me, and prevent millions of people from starting their own business ... some of them are true, and some of them are just illusions ...

Let's discuss ten of them ... the top ten, in my opinion ...

The first justification: I do not find a valid idea for a special project.

This of course is the first justification that comes to anyone's mind ... a private project? ... a special project about what exactly? ..I do not find a unique idea that would make me hit the market, make me a millionaire within a year from now!

The truth is that (Great Ideas) are a great illusion .. sheer nonsense .. We drunk it from the cinema, and we all learned it when we were repeating like idiots Archimedes’s saying, when he discovered the law of buoyancy: I found it ..

And other such illusions ..

Many of the already emerging projects change their objectives significantly, and alter their ideas and context during their development .. 70% of the emerging projects are modified almost completely after the first three months .. They are based on an idea, and then with work, development, the study of the market, consumers and others, they are completely modified ..

Try as much as possible to approach the ideas that you think are distinct ... or - at least - not many of you have implemented them .. But even if there is an idea that appeals to you greatly, and this idea is traditional and has been implemented a million times before .. Start with it without Hesitation .. And your role will be to present it and show it distinctly and differently from others ..

In short: It is not necessary to have in your mind an unprecedented idea to start your own project.

The second justification: I am young, inexperienced.

A very large sector of people think in this way ... some of them may be right ... but in general, the age factor does not matter at all, as far as mental and intellectual maturity ... the ability to deal with opinions and differences in a flexible manner ... the ability to rise again after each failure ... the love of learning and imbibing with knowledge at any moment and anywhere.

As for the experience .. most experts always advise that the young man spend a year or two of his life in a job, in order to absorb it and gain its experience .. and then start his own project in this specialization, or any other specialization, after he has had functional and administrative experiences Enough ..

The truth that might surprise you ... is that even this advice is rejected by many experts today! ... for many have found that the best way to gain experience is to actually start your own project without hesitation, in a way that will make you more focused, careful and informed of any step you take ..

I will even add to you poetry. Some experts are very concerned about a young man gaining experience in a job for a year or two .. Usually a young person who works in a job - especially if it is rewarding - tends to settle down, and gradually begins to back down from his quest to start His own project ..

The third justification: I have a family to support!

These category of people usually face their challenges greater than the youth ... The unmarried youth definitely has a greater opportunity to move and try several times after each failure.

As for those who have already formed a family, they are usually more cautious and careful with regard to any step to start their own business ... simply because they do not look at the profits that they will make from this project ... Rather, he always looks at (losses) that may befall him ... so he falls into financial crises due to a (adventure), which he will inevitably describe later!

In any case, I will not invite you - like many writers - to shake off these ideas and start working on your own project in this case..You may be too hasty to lose all that you have, and to pray for me to destroy my home ...

But I can say that the most appropriate solution for you in this case is to keep your job at the same time that you start a project based on a partnership with other people ... and your share of this partnership is reasonable and not burdensome to your budget ... These steps will not achieve you. - Of course - the qualitative leap that you can achieve if you start your own project with great boldness .. However, it will definitely help you in the gradual growth, and greater safety for you and your family!

The fourth justification: I am not sure of my intelligence.

This excuse is usually not outspoken .. No one admits that he is simply stupid .. However, some people still have certain deposits and a negative image of their abilities attached to their minds, which have been linked to his failure several times in various matters ..

Project management to the land of success My friend, you do not need to be a genius .. It is a set of rules and administrative activities, if you implement them often you will reach success easily .. Unless your project that you want to engage in, is the discovery of a new theory that breaks down Einstein's theory of relativity .. Or you come up with a new physical constant ..

Only then, will you undoubtedly need a very high IQ to start this project

The fifth justification: I do not know much about business and projects.

This justification is similar to the previous justification .. Again .. You do not need to have a PhD in Business Administration from a British university, in order to start a special project consisting of a few individuals .. All you need to know: What do people really want? What should you do to fulfill these requests and desires in a distinctive way ..

These two elements are able to reach them with average intelligence and average education, without the need for academic bifurcation in knowledge and experience ... Of course, the larger your project, the more knowledge you need, in order to manage more efficiently and professionally ..

A question that summarizes this point for you: What is one billionaire in the world today who has a higher academic degree in business administration ?!

Most likely, you will not find .. Only you will find that those with academic degrees and extensive experience in project and business management work in executive positions (under) the authority of the real project owners .. who did not have extensive experience in the field of business and projects when they started their work .. Like you!

The sixth justification: I do not find a suitable partner

Of course, having a partner for you in the project gives you greater safety .. But the mistake - all wrong - is to disrupt your movements and your ambition to search for this partner .. Start and do everything in your power towards your project idea, at the same time that you search for partners ..

Searching for partners in this era has become very easy in my opinion .. You can advertise on the Internet .. You can be present at events or events that approach the field of your project, and get to know people with the same interests .. and thus increase the chances of their participation with you in your project ..

The seventh justification: I do not see a strong opportunity to compete with other companies

This is really one of the most important problems .. The entrepreneur always looks at the current market situation, not at the shape of the market in the future, and the demand that will inevitably increase later .. He always sets his sights on that competing with older companies in this field is impossible, or that The market has already saturated with this product or service, and there is no room for competition.

Let us not go far and take a very direct example ... Our magazine (Arajik), when it appeared at the hands of the two friends, Malaz Al Madani and Imad Shams, late last year, we had a large number of other competing websites, which have a great reputation in this market ..

If it was the same mentality that you think of ... then our need to compete with these sites?

In the beginning, it seemed to us that competing sites were difficult to reach ... Any new job must face this difficulty ... But we were not working to be distinguished at the time ... but to be distinguished in the future ... which is today!

Now, after only 10 months ... we - thanks to God - are moving at the speed of the missile to the front, while other competing sites are content to copy us.

Briefly :

Remove from your mind completely the concept of strong “current competitors” for your project .. look to the future and work as hard as possible ... let them enjoy the present ... and make the future yours!

The eighth justification: I am not ready to commit

Most people express it as (they do not have time) to start and follow up their own project .. I do not like this sentence ... Today there are 24 hours in which you can definitely divide it in a way that makes you perform more than one task at the same time ..

In any case, it is more correct that you are not prepared to commit to starting and continuing the project .. This is a clearer and more direct sentence, and I fully support you in it .. if you are too busy ... or even psychologically in a period of your life to bear the burdens and pressures of starting A private work and follow it with the utmost seriousness and interest .. You can postpone it for a while, but not cancel it of course!

Do not start with a project that you know you will not commit to working on .. But I hope that you do not take this justification as an excuse for not starting at all with your project, because if you are busy in your job, it is the first time that you provide time in which you commit to doing your own project, which will generate more profit and security for you. Much more than your routine job ... in the future!

The ninth justification: Job is the natural path

I think that this justification is the most powerful and influential in your decision to move away from starting a private project .. We come to this world - most of us - from a middle class, and we are completely saturated with the notion that (job) is the inevitable path once you finish education ... Steady in our minds that the only way To get the money, is to work for others.

It is this thinking that has made this world divided into two parts: the section of millionaires and billionaires who read and hear about them in newspapers, magazines, websites and television ... and the section of workers, employees, agricultural workers and hard-working people, who find that their maximum ambitions are to obtain a (bonus) or reassuring social insurance .. or An increase in the monthly salary.

This is exactly what made the founder of Microsoft giant (Bill Gates) say:

I failed some academic subjects at the university ... while my friend succeeded in passing them excellently ... Currently my friend works as an engineer at Microsoft ... while I am the founder and owner of this company !!

I think that there is no need for further explanation .. Just imagine if Bill Gates completed his studies and worked as an engineer in a company, and he was satisfied with the job and the wage he gets from it .. Would he be the richest in the world? Did Microsoft exist ?! Would you have known anything about him, or heard his name ?!

My advice to you: Make a job a way to start your own business ... and do not make the goal of your whole life to be employed, and spend your whole life waiting for increases in your monthly salary, or the promotion that will come to you after several years ..

No matter how rewarding and comfortable this job is!

The tenth justification: I am wealthy and I have enough!

In fact, it is one of the most infuriating excuses .. You have money (the basic element to make any commercial project), for which millions of people struggle to start their commercial projects ... and you just put it in the bank, sit on a comfortable sofa and do nothing at all!

The extra money inevitably causes a kind of laziness or complacency with the status quo, and a lack of conviction - for some - in starting a business that consumes time and nerves .. But you must know that the human nature inside you will not be straightforward with permanent comfort, without work or goal to work for ..

10 justifications I challenge you that it did not occur to you, as soon as you think about starting your own project .. I think I refuted it before you.

In the end, you should know that those who made enormous fortunes, all of them started - without exception - with modest projects, and suffered financial and psychological crises ... and failed several times ... before the time came to rest and enjoy life ..

And they continue to do other new projects of course!
