German is the official language of other countries in addition to Germany, including Austria, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, and Switzerland. Additionally, it is one of the most widely taught languages in the whole globe. As was said in other postings, there are several advantages to beginning the study of a second language at an early age. To converse (write, talk, and listen) fluently in a foreign language requires not just time, but also at least 15 years of formal instruction.
