They also mixed in sci-fi, steampunk and fantasy themed songs, often humorous. Emerald Rose formed in 1996, released their first CD in 1998 but unfortunately they played their last concert a few years ago as the band has retired (though some members continue to make music on their own). I had the opportunity to see them a few different times at MegaCon in Orlando, Florida. #Music
