Have you recently been to a pharmacy? If so, you must remember seeing shelves full of preparation to relieve headaches, calm confused nerves, or combat inability to sleep. Not only such Meds are seen in pharmaceutical shops but they are also heavily advertised on TV.

It is evident that more and more people are looking for relief. What is causing so much pain and suffering? Often a common characteristic is involved:STRESS.

People of all ages and from all walks of life experience some stress. Studies suggest that the so-called employees are more affected than managers. Young people, singles and divorced people seem to feel more stressed than older married people.

A growing body of evidence shows that stress plays a role in most human illnesses, from the common cold to heart attacks.Think about what heart stress can do. When a person is stressed, their blood vessels constrict. Therefore, it takes more pressure to get the blood through them. In addition, the body's nervous system increases the amount of stress hormones, adrenaline and norepinephrine,in return these stress hormones increase the levels of free active fats in the blood to prepare the body for physical exertion that is rare in modern urban environments. As a result, excess free fatty acids such as neutral fats and cholesterol are now added to the walls of blood vessels. When the coronary arteries critically narrow, one last stressful episode results in insufficient blood supply to the heart for its needs.

Of course, in most cases, stress doesn't lead to cancer. However, stress plays a key role in serious illness. Is there a way to reduce the likelyhood of stress having adverse effects?

First of all, it's important to realize that not all stress is bad. Stress is truly the spice of life. We are stressed with joy, for a tennis match, for an exciting melodrama. We are in our least stressful state when we wake up in the morning and know what we are like. It is advisable to be confused and have poor muscle coordination. Stress wakes us up, allows us to live. Difficulties arise when a certain stress, both mental and physical, is applied over a long period of time.

However, if the stress is too long or if a person reacts badly to a stressful situation, it can lead to injury. How can we avoid this? Let's look at some basic situations that cause undue stress.

SOME CAUSES OF TRANSLATION STRESS

People react very differently to events in their lives. What causes suffering in one person can be an invigorating experience for another.

However, some things almost always cause harmful stress. The most common one is  loss of a loved one. Personal injury or illness, job loss and financial difficulties are also major causes and common.Overcrowded conditions in some areas and constant human exposure to loud noises are additional sources of painful stress for many people.

The Stress that a person feels has a lot to do with their attitude to life. This can be characterized as an irregular and self-destructive lifestyle that is mainly dominated by aggression, anger and ambition. And in addition to mental attitude, a person's daily routine can cause unnecessary stress..

THE VALUE OF A BALANCED VIEW POINT

If stress is a problem for you, can a more balanced outlook on life help you? Perhaps the biggest source of tension/stress is anger.Do you easily get in most cases when don’t go your way? knowing that "exploding" is not a sign of strength, but of weakness, will help you get a more balanced perspective. The biblical proverb wisely says: "Better is he who takes time to anger than a mighty man, and he who controls his mind than he who conquers a city."

Does it help to make some changes”

If your current job does not reach a certain goal that compensates for your unwanted stress, can switching to a job that better suits your personality make things better for you? If this change does not cause you financial difficulties, you may find that doing something you love reduces the stress of your life.

Often, however, it is not possible to change jobs, as with housewives. In that case, it may be a good idea to do the more unpleasant activities first and leave the time later for more enjoyable activities. Sometimes it is necessary to change to avoid creating tension. A quick walk, a half-hour nap or a few minutes to look out the window can do wonders for a tense person. However, be careful not to take so many breaks that you will be frustrated when you do not act. This would aggravate the tension rather than relieve it.

And do not underestimate the value of exercises and some physical activities. Many of the known risk factors for heart disease, such as high blood fat levels, high blood pressure, sugar intolerance and rapid blood clots, have been shown to decrease in people who exercises regularly.People look and feel better, feel good at home and at work and sleep better at night.

Chopping down a tree trunk, painting a room, cycling, taking a quick, refreshing dip - any physical activity can go a long way to relieving tension.

Avoid making things worse

You cannot avoid the stress in your life. But does that make things worse than necessary? For example, smoking is known to put extra strain on the heart. One study found that the caffeine in coffee increases the secretion of a stress hormone in over-excited people, although this was not the case in relaxed people at home.

One way to avoid making things worse when you are stressed out is to not take on unnecessary extra tasks. For example, if you are currently suffering from a serious illness at home, it is advisable to make some important changes in your life such as: moving or changing jobs until the illness goes away.

Discover a change in your usual routine through regular breaks, physical activity, or pursuing a constructive hobby. If possible, avoid making stressful situations worse and prepare for unexpected stress in advance.
