Looking deeply into ones' self, it would be very easy to miss the beauty and importance of ones' existence. This often times fueled by the negativity projected out by people around you. Not because you're not doing well, rather because you're doing much more better than them. Now they either consciously or subconsciously paint the image of a defeated and shamed person into your mind. Accepting this negative feed into you doesn't necessarily need your approval, because what the ear listens to most times gets thrown into the subconscious mindset of every individual. The process by which this negativity takes effect is never achieved over-night. The exposure to such comments daily prints the image of it as if it were a reality, tricking the mind into believing that it is truly the reality and as an effect of that, the mind first cowers, dragging the body and senses along with it gradually. For this reason, many who have fallen prey to this hawkers of negative comments wound up in solitary, unable to break free from the chains of low self Esteem. Would it be wrong to say that "they imprisoned themselves" because they weren't capable of deciding what should be assimilated into their minds?
Being a person with a strong will is something one has to learn, either be emulation or by self training. It has to be considered the greatest weapon of man against his own self. Man's greatest friend and at the same time, greatest enemy is his mind, from where all matters are deliberated on, justified and implemented. A strong will should is a necessity for everyone who leaves the comfort of his home and journeys to the world where everyone is trying hard to push the other person back home with nothing to show for the time he/she had been out there. (There seems to be not enough to go around for everyone) the thought with which the ones with low self Esteem might try consoling themselves with. It doesn't matter anymore they would say, I'll never be able to attain that height, or accomplish that goal because it's too much or too farfetched.
Well, that is not the way to go if one is feeling down, or being led into thinking they are not enough or that they are actually incapable of accomplishing their goals. Here are a few tips to rescuing yourself from such unhealthy state of the mind.
1) Develop a mantra: Developing a mantra for oneself is one sure way to boost your spirit. The mind processes things it hears through the ears, so by waking up everyday and saying out loud the mantra which you had written down, gives the mind the only option of believing that, what it has heard has to be true, prompting it to process that information, and with that, one will find a boost of positivity around them.
2) Choose what your mind feeds on: Just like saying your mantra over and over again, if one chooses what they want their minds to feed on by simply finding the little positive energy they receive outside and focusing all their attention on it, not giving a thought to what negativity has been thrown at them, they will find that, subconsciously their mind is made powerful and strong enough to withstand the world and its cunning negativeness.
3)Therapy : Therapy sessions also help relieve one of their pent up emotions that had been built up over time. It has been one of the most effective ways to get rid of low self Esteem and to get one ready and full of energy for a new journey.
Being one who is ready to head on into the world to search for opportunities and make a future, one has to be fully prepared for the known and the unknown.
