Today i will be talking about Sport, football to be precises.
Yesterday was a great day for Manchester United in Europe as they demolish one of the best team in Italy(Roma), to the whole world it was a surprising score line not for Manchester United team but for the Manager and the current team which have been inconsistent both in their league and in europe.
The red devils was on a 4-2-3-1 formation with a lot of bench options for them while Roma played with a 3-4-3 formation and was without Pedro who was one of their best player, The match begin and United found the next exactly 9 minutes with Bruno Fernandes giving them the lead with Cavani with the assist and this put a smile on untied fan and players but while they were still enjoining their lead, a penalty was conceded by Paul Pogba which was a res``ult of an handball he did when he slide to clear the box out of his box and goal was scored by Roma Captain Pellegrini.
Then the celebration for united fans was over but despite that, united was still in control of the game with 80% ball possession but they couldn't find the back of the net and when it was the 35th minute Dzeko gave Roma the lead with a pass from Pellegrini making the score line 1-2 putting a lot of pressure on the home team, united tried to equalised but couldn't while Roma tried a lot to increase their lead but both failed to score which left the first half score line 1-2 in favor of the away team and the end of the first half we witnessed 3 substitution including their Goalkeeper done by the Roma team due to injury which i'm sure would make the Coach worried cause it was definitely not planned that way.
After the end of the half time, the game resume with both team looking sharp and ready to give it their best and secure a leg in the Final which will be played in Gdansk Stadium in Poland, but 3 minutes into the Second Half united got their equalizer scored by Edison Cavani with an assist from Bruno, it was a fantastic finish, it was a goal of hope to the United team.
Another brilliant finish by Cavani 16 mins after his first goal, and that is it United are leading, making it two goals for the Uruguay forward we thought that would end the play but too early to deicide though then 7 minutes later united got a penalty which was a result of hard tackle made by former United player Chris Smalling which was taken and scored by Fernandez making it two goals for him too, now the away team need two goals to level back the score line with still plenty of time to play 4 mins later after united 4th goal the French midfielder who have been working tirelessly scored a brilliant headed from Bruno Fernandez cross making the Score line 5-2 and also 2 goals and 2 assist by the portuguese player. then we could hear the whole stadium singing Glory Glory Glory Man united, then home team made is first change bringing out Rashford for the young star Mason Green and later on he substituted Fred for Matic to strengthen his Midfield then 10 minutes after the introduction of Mason he gave United there sixth goal of the match with a pass from Cavani, that was when we all could say it was over for Roma at old trafford, Manchester United later introduce Mata by bringing out bruno at the 89th minute.
The fourth official shows their are two minutes added on time but was off no use to the Roma team as united pushed to score their 7 goal of the match but couldn't get it. Then game then ended 6-2 in favor of Manchester United which we all know it's a great team for the home team having secure a leg in the Final against either Villarreal or Arsenal.
The match showed united still holding their record of Roma been thrashed at Old trafford for the 4th time. United will be playing Liverpool in their Epl match on Sunday and will go back to Roma on May 6 for the second which will be the decided of who played the final and i know it going to be a tense game cause Roma hate to lose at home. Will there be a comeback for Roma as they did against Barcelona in the Champions league years back or United will win again?
