Have always known PRIDE to be a killer of human since i was a kid, one of the reasons why i don't look down on anybody no matter who you are, your gender, your background, your life( past or present), I look and treat everyone at equals.

Yesterday, I went out briefly to visit a friend of mine who was celebrating is birthday and on my way back, I boarded a bike. The rider drove pass the tiled road and we approached a bad road which there is just one lane for the ongoing and coming vehicles to manage. The vehicle waiting for eachother to avoid things getting worse resulted into a huge traffic, it would have become a disaster if everyone didnt coperate to do so.

The last vehicle that drove out of the community passed and look at we on bike and the bike-man like a low life people and he was silently insulting them just because he own a car or what?

You might be wondring how I read his mind, don't stress yourself because that was very simple to know from his actions. He splashed mud on us , looked at us from the side mirror and drove off without an apology.

I was so pained and kept asking myself, does owning a car makes you superior over others, i won't take away the fact that driving your car gives you comfort but why look down on people because you drive a car which is actually not the most expensive car in the world and these are the same people who will complain about bad government in our country. They will say all sort of bad things about them which is true but what struck me most is that "if you could look down on your fellow human just because you own a car what will be your attitude when you are the head of a nation? You will definitely hurt people without remorse.

It is very silly how we believento be better than our so called corrupt leader, I have always believed that the difference between us is the power bestowed on them. If we all have such power, worse damage would have happened in the world than we are seeing right now.

The person in particular might not own half of what the person who was on a bike own but just because the person was on a commercial bike this makes me remember one of my fore father proverb which says '' Omo ni jogun ile, akitan lo jogun oko ayokele - in Yoruba" which mean when you die your children would inherit your house but no matter out expensive or exotic your car is it going to end up in the thrash.

I'm not actually saying you should not buy a car or own a car or drive expensive car but don't because of that look down on someone both that bike and car would end up in the thrash one day, even we human that owns this thing will die one day and leave everything behind do you know the funniest part even if you are buried with luxuries and expensive cloth, it will all rot and when they bring your skeleton out your family won't be able to recognize you.

Whatever it is you possess doesn't make people lessee than you and at the long run, no one will be going to the afterlife with whatever is it they own while alive.

JUST STAY HUMBLE NO MATTER YOUR STATUS, BACKGROUND OR ANYTHING BECAUSE NOBODY IS PROMISE ETERNITY

HAPPY SUNDAY TO YOU ALL.
