Child Marriage!!
Today I have actually branched my style of writing and I think I have to bring something about Child Marriage. Although it looks decreased in the system nowadays but let's take a look at it Hello everyone, it's Dangerous_Fly once again. **Please do well to subscribe if you haven't as well as leave a like if you want to..** Many at times in the olden days children especially the female child were forced into marriage at their younger ages. It might not be common now as I already said but it still exists . It might be the wish if the child or not but that is generally a bad idea as far u am concerned. ****Causes Of Child Marriage !!**** Families as well as other people force their young female into marrying older men(mostly rich men due to the following reasons); ****Poverty****: Mostly poverty is what causes a family to force their child into early marriages just to help sustain them .. They mostly do this since the husband to be has some money that can care for them .. **Illiteracy on the part of parents as well as children :** Also, a major cause of Child Marriage is the lack of knowledge of parents and children on the effects of this practice thereby pushing their children into it. **Inability Of Women To Work For Money:** Again, woman (children) can't work for money at such young age and as a result of poverty parents do consider this fact and push them in. *Insecirity:* *Gender Inequalities* *Inadequate Implementation Of The Law* *Dowry and a whole lot ..* ****Effects Of Child Marriage**** Through the above , these children are led into a whole lot of danger of which most people don't notice. Some of these dangers include ; **Denial Of Certain Rights** : Mostly the child is denied of the right to education, personal liberty as well as others. **Domestic violence** : A case where the child is married into a house where there are other wives already thereby becoming the newly weeded wive will cause more trouble and violence as there will be quarelel between them resulting into a terrible situation. **Poor Mental Health** **Increased Risk For Sexually Transmitted Diseases** **Cervical Cancer** **Death During Child Birth:** **Solutions To Child Marriage** Thereby there must be ways to prevent these things from happening of which some includes; **Women Empowerment** : Women should be made to know what processes as well as measures to put in place during such times .. **Educate And Rally Parents And Community Members** : Parents should also be made aware of the various dangers associated with Child Marriage thereby discouraging them to let their children get involved no matter the situation.. **Provide Economic Support For Girls And Their Families** **Encourage Supportive Laws and Policies :** Policies as well as laws fighting against Child Marriage should be made more effective and biting. **High Level Of Education On The Part Of Girls** Thank you all for your time and your co-operation . Although it's still practiced, there are cases now where there is an agreement between families involved like the young female is allowed freedom from the marriage until some age under certain conditions but then it would still depend on the parties involved. It's a weird tradition for some countries to do this, actually
I have read stories of Child Marriage and it is really heartbreaking to know there are little girls out there who are forced to take on the role of a "wife." They are still kids. The do not know what they are being forced to do. I cannot imagine the terror they feel of being unsafe and vulnerable. 💔

Fixed marriage still exists. It's easy to say to have this freedom of choices but it's impossible unless you run away from your home town. In some religion fixed marriage at young age is normal. At age 16 M 14 F . They can be married and have their own family. The problem is woman Doesn't have this freedom. They can't say No when the proposal of the man parent's is done. That night they can also plan that wedding. So sad. That's why poverty arise like you said. Lock of Family planning are one Reason too. In some barrios they don't have this guidance.
God help them fight these situations..
Islam is rift with child marriage.
Isn't true love about a free will choice? If a parent has shown true and healthy love to their children they need to at some point let them make quality decision in a safe environment to the point that they can trust them to make bigger decision, like marriage on their own.
I don't know why that force their children into such things simply to fulfill their wish?? A question to be answered later by those who do that
Thank you for you article. Child marriage still exist, like in Northern Nigeria. Example, two days ago, someone in my office read in the news how a 13 years old girl was getting to a man of 65 years. It's a dangerous disease.
This culture or whatever should be clearly dealt with for avoid more harm
Child marriage is one the best idea for escaping poverty in some regions in Nigeria. Am not saying I support it, but I feel they did what they think they had to do to survive. And moreover some child marriage do turn out fine at the end...
Actually child marriage is still a problem in many south asian countries and the main cause is poverty and illiteracy.
It's sad to think people have to do this for poverty. But not only girls have to have high education and lack of the ability to work. There are also boys that marry young with a rich woman. So I guess this goes out to all genders, although majority would be girls. But still there are boys.
I think, illiteracy is the main cause of child marriage.😢

There are many reasons for child marriage. Illiteracy is one of them. Poverty is also a reason for child marriage. In our country, it's a very big problem. 😢
Not only illiterate people, bt also some litterate people have done it. Because they have some family issues and many other problems.
Family issues is mainly the major cause of such activities. Due to the difficulties in the family they thereby stick to these ways as they think it is the best way to free them from their troubles which is a bad situation..
