The Olive Harvest in Tuscany It's #ThrowbackThursday 🌿 so let me take you many years back to my very first day of olive picking. In Tuscany, well known for the top quality olive oil, the tradition of harvesting olives begins in late October. Tuscany’s green gold, the new olive oil, is something we look forward to every year. What a neat experience. #oliveharvest #Dana📸

I see a great harvest of nice healthy olives there. Sometimes I throw a few olives into the cognac. Cognac gets a great taste. 🍸
Oh! That's a lot if only I could help you. That means these week this is what you do? Because it's late October now Dana.
I think they will be fat, is it true?
This is awesome!! We love olive oil a lot and fresh olives. I want 1 box please :):) You look lovely, Dana (as always )
Olives are so good and later the wonderful and healthy olive oil! To enjoy with many things. It must be an experience to be able to take yourself the olives.
The olive fruit looks like grapes in second photo. I wish we have plenty of olives like that too. The plant is kinda rare here that's why olive oil here is expensive. Picking olives there looks fun seeing these photos coz they're abundant. 😀
Olives.. I love fresh olives.. But here in my area not available....
I think it's difficult to handpick the olive but I'm sure there's something special about it. Especially when it happens for the first time. I can see it in your attitude, a little tense and maybe too serious. I guess after a while it becomes a habit. Your photos tell the story very well.
