Some days ago, I've come across an article on a brief description and the usage of these Hawaii-based euthanasia pods. This may be obvious, but this technology is able to fit a single person, and it looks pretty hip. You could check that out on the internet to see how it looks like. The technology is kind of free in the first half since you'll only download the 3D model of this machine, but you will shoulder the cost of building the entire thing, from the printing process to the assemblage of the machine and its electronics to buying those lethal gases by yourself, think of it as spending all your wealth on this machine before commiting assisted suicide. When you've seen how the pod looks like, it's designed to be portable so you can die wherever you want and enjoy the scenery you want to see before you die since the machine has this huge glass in front of it. Nice try, Philip Nitschke, but that won't stop me from dying after I had fucked every corpse on the morgue by letting them dry me up after all that crazy shit. Just joking. Anyway, to make this thing work, the user gets in the pod, closes it, presses and holds the button to confirm the initiation of the death pod, makes the user drowsy after a while before rapidly releasing nitrogen to kill the user. It's up to the bereaved ones on how to dispose the body either by cremation, burial, or just dispose it in the mafia way. The supposed goal of this pod is to have the user have a peaceful death while staying in line with his/her preferences in terms of their preferred final location. It's currently in its prototype phase, so I'll guess that the final product could be released anytime from now.
I have mixed reactions on this one since you're gonna see someone die on the spot (whether you're invited or you just happen to cross paths with someone using the pod) and I think that it's sad. For me, criminals who have commited ill crimes aren't deserving to use this pod because they deserve to suffer longer, but that's another story.
