Trade to Win: KuCoin Hosts Trading Competition for Locus Chain (LOCUS)
Recently, I saw that the People's Exchange added Locus Chain (LOCUS) to their platform, and you know what? I'm impressed. It just shows that KuCoin really knows how to spot awesome new tokens to bring in.
So, I was reading about Locus Chain, and apparently, it's a really cool public blockchain that's completely decentralized and crazy fast! They say in their whitepaper that it's the first blockchain that's actually practical to use in the real world. Plus, it's a decentralized cryptocurrency system that they're working on, and they're trying to get it to be able to handle over 4,000 transactions per second on the network. Pretty impressive, right?
As I'm writing this, the current price of LOCUS is US$0.05934, and its 24-hour trading volume is $694,475. Additionally, LOCUS has a circulating supply of 2.08 billion tokens and a maximum supply of 7 billion tokens.
In celebration of the exchange's newest gem addition, KuCoin and the Locus Chain team partnered to give away a Locus prize pool worth $30,000 to eligible KuCoin users. There are two activities prepared for this event, and the mechanics are no different from the previous trading competition launched on KuCoin, so it will be very easy for all of us to take part in the event.
To qualify for the first activity, you need to trade a minimum of 3,000 LOCUS on KuCoin. Once you've done that, you'll be in the running to win a share of the $20,000 LOCUS prize pool. To see how the rewards will be given out, check the picture below.

So for the second activity, if you have a net buying amount of at least 5,000 LOCUS and an average LOCUS holding amount of at least 5,000 LOCUS, you'll then be qualified to share a $10,000 LOCUS prize pool. Just keep in mind that KuCoin will randomly take snapshots from the start of the event until April 28, so make sure to hold onto those LOCUS. Also, the more you hold, the more rewards you'll receive!
The rewards will be distributed based on our average holdings.

Just a heads up, though - the trading competition has already been ongoing for three days now. But don't worry if you just found out about it, there's still time to join in and win a share of the prize pool from either the first or second activity, or even both! I am participating in the event myself and aiming to qualify for both activities. To be honest, since I’m a day late to the competition, I’m not sure if I can win a spot given how promising this token is and how many people from various social media platforms have shared that they’re also joining the competition.
Lastly, I think participating in events like this can really teach you a lot about the crypto space, especially if you’re just starting out. The more competitions you take part in, the more you’ll learn about what works and what doesn’t when it comes to trading successfully.
