On the twelfth round of Free Monday, my good friends traded tokens for free!
The surprises are not done yet, as KuCoin released another week of 0 Fee Rate for five (5) specific tokens. The KuCoin Free Monday Round Twelve (12) is here, and I can’t be more excited to share with you my top 3 picks for this round.
What is KuCoin Free Monday?
KuCoin Free Monday is an activity intended to give 0 trading fee for KuCoin’s featured tokens per week. Based on my observation, the tokens being included are relatively diverse and underrated. KuCoin already gave spotlights to some of my favorite underrated tokens.
Zero fee rates are applicable to different sets of tokens. Manage your expectations, however, KuCoin intentionally did not include big tokens. First off, that is quite impossible, and they have a larger volume compared to the tokens being included each week.
There are two activities under this: Free Trade, Free Rate and Deposit Now and Enjoy 10 USDT Rebate. Users will be able to enjoy a 0 trading fee when they trade specific tokens under KuCoin products.
In this round, there are five (5) new tokens you can trade on. Every token has its own distinct potential and purpose. Here are my top 3 picks from the Free Monday Round 12!
1. Keep Network (KEEP)
Keep your eyes and ears open for this project!
Upon researching, Keep Network holds a very important role in the life of a crypto investor— it solves the problem with holding back blockchain adoption: that data on public blockchains are public and it is prone to data theft. To put in simple terms, this one is an incentivized network for storing and encrypting private data.
Still confused? The purpose of this project is already in its name. To keep the user’s data. Something new about this project? There are off-chain containers for private data or commonly known as “keeps”. The keeps make sure that the smart contracts are being given properly with deep interactivity and private data without compromising the transparency or auditability of the file.
Interested users can take advantage of the KuCoin Free Monday and have KEEP in their own wallets. I haven’t really had the chance to experience these myself but I am more than interested in studying this token.
2. Flow (FLOW)
A fast, decentralized, and a developer-friendly blockchain network, that is Flow. Among all the tokens included in Free Monday, Flow has an applaudable round map.
There have been a lot of famous brands that built partnerships with Flow. To name a few, NBA and UFC are on the list. Flow is continuously making its legacy on a more inclusive and borderless digital economy.
I bought a few $FLOW before when it gained attention from the users. It is required to have their currency before you can have access to the network and all its applications. I got curious so I tried purchasing some, but I might consider trading more especially now that it is available to be traded with 0 fee on Free Monday.
Also, FLOW is designed as a payment method and used by validators, developers to participate in the FLOW network and earn rewards. Definitely, Free Monday is a great opportunity to take advantage when you are interested in knowing these tokens.
3. Horizon (ZEN)
Last for this round, Horizon is an interoperable blockchain system, supported by a decentralized node infrastructure. A fun fact about this project, using the unique sidechain technology known as Zendoo, the sidechain platform of this project focuses on scalable data privacy, and to build private or public blockchains.
According to the team, the Horizen was intended to be completely decentralized, fully customizable with privacy features and supports low costs. A project that maximises security and distributes its native token to help the users.
What caught my attention is its mission to empower people and bring them closer together through the process of building an inclusive ecosystem where everyone can be rewarded for their contribution. Yes, it might be a normal goal for most projects, but I really appreciate that they included this on most parts of their paper.
