What is KuCoin Free Monday?
KuCoin Free Monday is an activity intended to give 0 trading fee for KuCoin’s featured tokens per week. Based on my observation, the tokens being included are relatively diverse and underrated. KuCoin already gave spotlights to some of my favorite underrated tokens.
Zero fee rates are applicable to different sets of tokens. Manage your expectations, however, KuCoin intentionally did not include big tokens. First off, that is quite impossible, and they have a larger volume compared to the tokens being included each week.
There are two activities under this: Free Trade, Free Rate and Deposit Now and Enjoy 10 USDT Rebate. Users will be able to enjoy a 0 trading fee when they trade specific tokens under KuCoin products.
In this round, there are six (6) new tokens you can trade on. Every token has its own distinct potential and purpose. Here are my top 3 picks from the Free Monday Round 13!
1. Band Protocol (BAND)
Prepare yourself before actually reading their whitepaper. It is quite complicated compared to other tokens, but surely, worth knowing. BAND is a token used as a collateral by validators involved in fulfilling data requests.
Aside from that, it also stands as the main medium of exchange on BandChain, specifically being used to pay for private data. Furthermore, if you’re interested in getting to know more about the project, then it is a must have to take home some BAND.
Band Protocol is designed to offer permissionless oracle creation, allowing anybody to start servicing data requests. Not only that, after checking several reviews, Band Protocol is indeed designed to be faster and more efficient than competing oracle solutions. The positive feedback made me more curious about their network, and I am considering pocketing some from the KuCoin Free Monday.
2. THORChain (RUNE)
Second on the list is THORChain, with its native token called RUNE. Unlike the first token, the idea is quite simple to understand.
If you are curious about this project. I’ve prepared the three main things you need to take note of this project. First, THORChain lets you easily swap tokens across chains without wrapped or pegged tokens. Second on the mark, this project gives you an opportunity to earn by providing liquidity to the exchange. Last but definitely not the least, RUNE token holds a very important role within the THORChain ecosystem. The four main purposes of this token are for security, liquidity, rewards and governance.
3. SuperFarm (SUPER)
I’ve come at the very last entry for this round. However, do not worry because this token will surely make an impact as the article-ender.
SuperFarm is a cross-chain decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol built to facilitate the launching of new non-fungible tokens (NFTs) without the need for programming. To make it simplified, it is a marketplace and an innovative set of tools allow any project to deploy a farm with its own rules. They are literally giving out freedom to any user to process their own farm. In simple words, they can deploy a customized farm and set their own rules in incentivizing the users.
One of “super” amazing facts about it is its capability to bring utility to any token by turning it into an NFT farm with no coding required.
