Elon Musk on Twitter: "Not adhering to free speech"

Every netizen was in shock when Tesla tycoon Elon Musk expressed his sentiments that Twitter wasn't able to protect free speech in operating its platform. It may come off as a little normal, knowing how loud Musk is on Twitter, but his following steps made the screen people mouth-opened. 

According to his tweet last March 27, the said social media platform is not adherent to the basics of free speech therefore, compromising democracy. This was after he conducted a poll on his twitter account last March 25 asking his followers if Twitter actively promotes the tenets of free speech and replied that the consequences of the poll is important.

The poll garnered 2,035,924 votes where 70% of it answered NO to the question.

Recently, it was reported that Musk bought 9.2% shares of Twitter,INC. for $2.89 Billion. And plans to buy the whole corporation in pursuit of the reforms it needed, which Tron Blockchain founder Justin Tron welcomes in hopes of making twitter Crypto-native and Web3 friendly.

The Tesla owner is known for airing and utilizing his twitter account on promoting cryptocurrency which his company has allowed to be used in exchange to its products, while Twitter just launched last September 2021 its "Tip" option by using Bitcoin

At the time of writing, it is not yet clear what Musk's intention on discussing Twitter's ability to care for free speech while buying most of its shares.
