Every third crypto investor should be a woman.

There has been a huge demographic gap ongoing since crypto began to be known by the world.  Despite the continuous winnings of women in different fields, the crypto sector remains a heavily male-dominated industry. The same situation goes with any investment and financial corporation. According to the study of Crypto Head, out of the 121 leading crypto companies, only 5% have ladies on their team.

This sector remains to be a proof of how women are lagging behind men when it comes to dealing with finances. Historically speaking, women in the society have always struggled to keep pace with men in traditional investment verticals. In a survey made by CNBC, in partnership with Momentive, the accumulated population of men is twice as the existing number of women  in crypto.

As we celebrate the International Women’s Day, here is some golden news that will definitely encourage more women to take a risk on digitized tokens and explore more their capacity to handle finances for the future.

In a recent study of BlockFi, more women investors are getting pulled to cryptocurrencies and there is no valid reason why women should worry about their capability in learning crypto. To begin with, women can do better. The best news came with 60% interested women who are willing to buy digital assets within the next few months— a good starter!

“There’s no better way to learn about something new than by doing — especially when diving into the seemingly complex world of crypto,” Flori Marquez from BlockFi even insisted.

The first step to get familiar with crypto is read articles, research facts and make exploring a habit. In cryptocurrency, any demographic aspect has nothing to do. Gender is not an edge to the horizon of being a successful trader or investor. In fact, women should be more inclined with this type of investment as they are in-charge of budgeting and holding the money for their respective families.

The number of women in the industry is expected to grow for the next five years. We should also look forward to seeing more ladies working for crypto. BlockFi survey found that 15 percent of the women respondents said they were interested in working in this type of investment— one step closer to balancing a male-dominated field!

Women are not just grocery item hoarders nor only meant to be at home. The true place of women is in progression!
