Based on the new partnership, WeBank and OpenNodes will organize workshops and hackathons together to raise awareness and create a commitment to the platform and support its development.
The platform was developed and established during 2016. It initially had contributions from the top 20 fintech companies in China . The following year it became open source, and its membership grew to more than 100 firms , among which Tencent, Huawei and WeBank stand out.
