Lamborghini releases blockchain-based collectible stamps

Lamborghini partnered with collection startup Bitstamp to launch blockchain- based collectible stamps to give exclusivity to each of its units. The Italian brand of high-end sports cars and SUVs resumed operations on May 4 after the suspension of activities by COVID-19, and returned to the market with this new digital innovation .

Automobili Lamborghini Collection will be the name of the new series of collectibles powered by Distributed Accounting Technology (DLT). The first of them will be dedicated to the recently introduced Huracan EVO RWD Spyder .

“Each seal is a" unique "digital object, with its history and uniqueness guaranteed by blockchain technology. The stamp can be purchased, collected or resold exactly like a paper stamp. The collection works in exactly the same way: you can admire it, check its progress, give away stamps or resell them ” , reads the statement from the European firm.
