Corona help without political guidelines

The state should grant financial aid for corona-damaged companies without political demands.

According to a representative survey by the opinion research institute INSA-Consulere among 2054 people, 76 percent believe that the allocation of aid should not be linked to political goals, reports the online edition of the magazine Tichys insight.

When discussing billions of euros in aid for Lufthansa, for example , the federal government not only demands high interest, but also an influence on corporate policy. Environmental policy goals such as reducing domestic flights are also conceivable, according to INSA Managing Director Hermann Binkert.

The population, however, opposed such a link across all parties, most strongly the Greens with 86 percent, followed by the SPD and the Left (81 each), CDU and FDP (80 each) and AfD (76). (Editor € uro on Sunday)
