The Internet of Things: Where are we really today? Major advances in the field or a simple concept promising to put on the shelf of inventions too disruptive to be true?

AVA Labs traces the way on its subjects as complex as revolutionary, and bet on the “Internet of blockchains”, as an actor and not, as a simple spectator sitting wisely in the stands.

High speed innovation

AVA Labs has launched the first testnet of its future blockchain. This new version allows participants to connect to a global network of validators and to perform transactions at high speed - thousands of transactions per second and a payment purpose of less than two seconds .

The leaders of AVA Labs believe that the platform has the necessary technical attributes to naturally become a global platform for issuing digital assets.

Many companies from different sectors are interested in AVA , the embodiment of a flexible DLT platform, able to meet specific requirements.

The deployment of the mainnet should take place during July 2020.

AVA is mainly positioned in the decentralized finance sector, with a protocol baptized by the company's co-founder, Kevin Sekniqi , as "  the Internet of blockchains  ".

The internet of value

Sekniqi explains that the goal of AVA is to embody emergence in a new way for the value of circulation, in the same way that the Internet has revolutionized the flow of information.

AVA thus allows each user to create public or private blockchains, which can interact with each other and circulate values freely.

Many initiatives have emerged to make this interoperability possible, such as the Polkadot or Cosmos projects .

There is also a fork of Ethereum ( ETH ) - the Athereum - which works on AVA and which has characteristics similar to Ethereum 2.0 .

This flexibility of the AVA network was also noticed by the co-founder of Ethereum , Charles Hoskinson , who designated it as one of the most promising projects of this year.

The Internet has also made its way: "old people" like me were entitled to "the web page that takes 5 minutes to load" - had to be damn patient - then, the transition to web 2.0. Other developments have made the Internet yesterday, the one we know today - the democratization of coding, artificial intelligence, etc . The next revolution would therefore be represented by an internet of blockchains. It seems the time of the Internet for static pages, ugly - I take the risk to say - but, which still made us happy.
