Vaccines generally take 10-15 years to develop and fully tested and then released to the public but how did the COVID vaccine was made in less than a year! COVID just came and engulfed the entire world and everyone is trying to get rid of this virus but in the meantime, the Pfizer vaccines have been developed and also received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration.

How was this feat of making and testing a fulling functional vaccine achieved rather why was this feat achieved? The answer is to make money. The private sector poured billions of dollars to speed up the process and more to that all the information about the virus was shared internationally.

There was no shortage of participants for trials as well. Researchers also did not have to worry about the shelf stability of the vaccine because they knew that whatever they produce will be taken into use. There is one more misconception that the COVID vaccine was started when the pandemic spread out worldwide. Well, that was not the case.COVID was not a stranger to the researchers it comes from a family of viruses namely SARS coronavirus and MERS coronavirus. Many researchers mostly know what works and what does not.

If observed carefully the coronavirus structure consists of a spike protein which is the main culprit in the scene. If the person who has antibodies recognized the spike protein it would stop the virus dead on its track. Here RNA works as a messenger it triggers an immune response in the body and protects against the virus. So the researchers were able to gather this information and using past scientific knowledge were able to make the vaccines in such a short time.
