This message will help those of us that I've been complaining or one time or the other, your whatsapp number has being hacked by scammers.
It is not a new thing now that hackers now hack WhatsApp Accounts.
They exploit people on your list and give them fake news. This is very dangerous because it could damage your image.
They are able to change your phone number to theirs and then replace you in whatsoever group you belong. This is more like kicking you out of all the groups you belong and taking over.
When they do this, they can send messages to the group in the disguise of your name. They can do anything to tarnish your image.
In order to prevent such a thing from happening to you because only God knows who the next victim will be.
Follow these steps:
Go to settings on your WhatsApp,
Click on Account,
Click on Two- step verification,
Enter pin,
Input your email address
And save, that's all.
They are both at the very simple steps you can take to increase the security of your WhatsApp. If you do the above it will be difficult for anyone to hack a WhatsApp number.
If anyone tries to change your WhatsApp number, WhatsApp will ask for the Two-step verification and without it the account won't open.
