Kissing is an act that involves the touch or pressing of one's lips against another person or an object. It could be for a long time (french kiss) or for a short period of time (pecking).

It is always advisable to begin romantic moments or foreplay through kissing especially for the married because it has a way of quickly igniting, arousing and putting both partners in the mood for the real deal.

Kissing helps to release wellness hormones such as oxytocin serotonin and even dopamine. These chemical hormones  makes you feel euphoric and it also encourage feelings of affection and bonding.

Kissing also helps to lower stress hormone (cortisol) level eases anxiety. So when you come back from work feeling stressed out, go take your bath and then meet your partner so that you both can have some romantic moment through kissing.

Kissing helps you bond faster with your partner because of the hormone - oxytocin which it releases. 

It also helps reduces heart rate and consequently reducing your blood pressure through the dilatory effects it has on blood vessels.

For the ladies, know this. During period of cramps, a loving touch an kiss can help ease your pain. Demand it from your partner if need be.

Edema in pregnancy, why and what happens?

​​​​Have you ever wondered why most pregnant women have EDEMA (swelling on their legs, face and other part of their body as a result of increased extracellular fluid)?

Although not all women experience this, but it happened occasionally to most pregnant women.

Reading this article will help you understand the simple reason why this happens. 

Remember from our last discussion I talked about the role of plasma protein in the body. Now let's find out why and what they aside bonding and transportation of drugs to their binding sites or target receptors.

Swelling of the feet and faces during pregnancy is caused by increase fluid retention due to increase metabolic demand and also when there is a reduction in the level of albumin or other major proteins that play key role in maintaining oncotic pressure or oncotic pressure, edema (accumulation of fluids in tissues of the body leading to swelling) sets in.

One of the reason why most pregnant women have swollen legs and faces is as a result of reduction in plasma proteins which is caused by protein continuous absorption by the developing foetus in the womb and consequently this results to low level of plasma protein in the pregnant woman. 

Malnutrition also causes a reduction in protein level. The pitin edema is physiologic and resolves after pregnancy. Hope this meets you well. It is as simple as that.

Let's look at why too much of eating pizza is not good for your health.

One thing about fatness is that most times it predisposes you to some disease conditions.

Obesity, overweight or fatness reduce your immunity thus making you easily susceptible to disease.

So as much as you can you need to try to do exercise and regulate how you eat by disciplining yourself.

You're not possibly helping yourself by eating a big bowl of food after going for jogging or exercise which is intended to help you burn fats.

Control your appetite for pizza and Burger  in particular if you are the type that love them alot and all unhealthy fatty foods.
