Let's see if this works. I'm copying here the reflink to my own new post from the adult noise and hoping for a preview how the competitors offer it. But maybe I'm not hoping for it either. Maybe I'm even happy if a link has to be described to generate curiosity. In any case, I'm curious to see what's behind the 80% here that we don't see yet. https://noise.cash/post/z8jv02rtxk90
The station on a Friday afternoon. When you see the pictures, you don't think you're in a "big city" here. While waiting for the train, I felt like I was in the best Lockdown times. Absolute silence at a station at the beginning of the weekend. Creepy and fascinating at the same time. The pictures are perhaps a bit over-processed but that's what I like at the moment. It can be different again tomorrow, don't worry!

The new translation feature in noise.app is a great idea. But as it is with languages, they have their pitfalls. The German language is no exception and some parts are, shall we say, poorly translated. However, since only native speakers notice this, I have offered to do the German translation. Let's see if @simon is interested. I would be happy to do my part. You can see an example of the poor translation in my latest noise on noise.app/Cryptozeug/xgkg4n4p
As good as the new site is, the German translation is poor. Example: someone has 0 hearts (translation: 0 mag = 0 like) I click on the heart, then it says 1 wie = 1 how Hard to translate where the error lies here. But I suggest to let native speakers do the translations, not algorithms. If there is interest, I am available for the German translation, @simon ... Oh, and it would be nice to enter a Screenshot by ctrl+v without saving every screenshot as a file and upload it afterwards.
Don't worry, I'm still here. I'm just trying to figure out which noise I like better. So far I haven't found an answer.
To be honest, I'm a bit overwhelmed with 2x noise right now. Should I post everything twice, just on the old site or just on the new one? I'm going to let it sink in over the weekend and see how it develops. Until then, it might be a bit quieter from my side. But I'd still like to find out which image format works well here and doesn't look blurry in the new preview. So here's an attempt with my "standard noise cross-format". The picture is from last year, autumn is not quite that far here yet.
Now, with all the excitement about the new app, I forgot about the new #free #PC #game. Epic is giving you a gift from today: - Hundred Days - Winemaking Simulator For friends of farming simulations, this is certainly a useful game. The makers of the game are apparently all from the wine industry, so there should be no lack of realism. "Winemaking could be your greatest adventure. Make the best wine by interacting with the soil and nature, and take your winery to the top. Your beautiful journey to the traditions of winemaking begins now." Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNViYnT_at8 As always, enjoy!
If everyone is talking about the new noise.app, then I'll do the same. The innovations look promising and the new rules make spam more difficult. That's why I don't want to publicly post an invitation link here. Two have already been sent out privately, others maybe later. The app feels light and fast, but still has some small problems, which is also communicated. Registration is easy and everything new gets explained well. At first glance, it seems to be a very good development. Of course I'm on board, you can find me here: https://noise.app/Cryptozeug
Okay, that was unexpected. But so it was back then at Christmas. I'm glad to be back from the beginning and to see a lot of familiar faces. Noise on! For testing purposes, here is my first picture on noise.cash
Sometimes it's the little things that make me smile. This lighter had been missing since my holiday and I looked everywhere. I just discovered it in the washing machine. I'm glad, even if it's just a small, unimportant lighter. I don't like to lose things...
It's kind of strange. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. But Alien Worlds hasn't had anything like this in a long time. Today it's worth swinging the tools...
The sun is now so low that the spider webs are more noticeable again in the backlight. I found a particularly large one (by Central European standards) in the backyard. And in this light, the spiders are less repulsive. But I still wouldn't like to pet them. Sorry about the last picture, just a little horror trip...

I admit that I have been less active than usual here lately. But does that mean you have to put a poster in front of my door to encourage me to make noise? In any case, it has served its purpose.
The last day of the holiday was a little... different. A huge wall of thunderstorms suddenly rolled towards us. We were in the middle of the lake and it got darker and darker. Thunder and lightning everywhere and only one anchorage nearby. So let's go! Once there, the friendly greeting of the Grafiti on the tree. You can feel more comfortable than in this place. But at least it was a safe place during the storm. Even the ducks found it too wet in the water and wanted to come aboard.

We are already on the way back on our tour. The heron visits us every now and then and the pirate flag waves in the wind. Unfortunately, the second flag broke during a clumsy parking manoeuvre. Shit happens. Two hours of waiting at the lock - you're glad to be alone on the water again afterwards.

Wooden art near the Rheinsberg harbour. I'm not quite sure what the artist is trying to tell us, but maybe that doesn't matter.

A short shore leave in Rheinsberg, an unusual number of people and some culture. The castle and the castle park are worth a look and only about 5 minutes from the harbour. From well-kept architecture to enchanted corners in the landscape park all around. These impressions naturally make you hungry, so we looked for a small Italian restaurant that offers surprisingly good food at equally surprisingly high prices. But that's what I call a Pizza! On the way back to the harbour, this old house in a backyard caught our attention. It certainly has a lot to tell and I hope it gets renovated.

It's Thursday and time again for new #free #PC #games. Today Epic Games is giving away two games that both look very promising. - Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition Experience the final chapter of Lara's Origin story in Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, where her destiny is fulfilled and she gets to become the Tomb Raider. Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition includes the base game, all seven DLC challenge tombs and all downloadable weapons, outfits and abilities - the ultimate way to experience Lara's defining moment. Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYtyeqVQnRI - Submerged: Hidden Depths Submerged: Hidden Depths is a "relaxation exploration" adventure in the sunken ruins of a beautiful world, from a third-person perspective and without combat. You must take on the roles of Miku and Taku: one is possessed by a mysterious power that she wants to use for good, the other won't let this tear them both apart. Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tg88O8WkyE As always, I hope you enjoy it!

Probably one of the best views you can have from a toilet window. Maybe a bit noisy so close to the engine, but that has its advantages... We docked in a small town later to do some shopping and eat something. The water tornado fascinated the boys and me too, to be honest. Just turn the crank and off it goes. Towards evening, we wanted our peace and quiet again and, as always, looked for a lonely spot.

Pictures of a wonderfully quiet night. The moon rises directly in front of the deck, above us the bats, above them only the Milky Way. Trying to capture this with a phone camera on the deck of a swaying boat is almost hopeless. Nevertheless, I would like to show you a few of the attempts. Enjoy this short moment!

The Müritz is the largest lake that lies entirely within Germany. And it is truly gigantic. The Mirow lock is the "gateway to the Müritz" and an impressive structure, especially when you have to pass through. After the lock follows a 12 km long canal and then the "little ocean" opens up, which is probably what Müritz means in Slavic. It's not so easy to show this expanse from a boat, but I think you'll get the idea. In any case, it is too dangerous to dare to cross, so after a short detour we looked for a wildly romantic place to moor again. The night there was spectacular, but more on that later.

Geese straight ahead! Too late to brake but luckily they have the third dimension to evade. A great sight right in front of the boat. The freedom on the water is great but flying with own wings would be nice too.

Our start to the next day. With a good coffee and a Punk IPA and a little fishing, a morning like this is easy to endure. Where will we get to? No idea at this moment. Will we get some nice animal photos? Most certainly. More about that later.

With the darkness, calm comes over the lake. The waves get shallower, the sounds of nature quieter. We lie on the shore, the little boys already asleep and the big boys sitting on deck with a beer. It gets a bit spooky when the views can no longer see through the forest directly in front of the boat, the mosquitoes attract the bats at the anchor light and spiders come out of their hiding places everywhere. But that's exactly what makes it so appealing.

The heron is ready for take-off. You too? We are on a houseboat somewhere between Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in Germany. An area where you can buy honey from the beekeeper directly at the jetty and differences in altitude are overcome not with stairs but with locks. An area with almost no road (noise) or light pollution. An area with many lakes and canals. The first day was correspondingly adventurous. Learning to control the boat, the first lock passage, the rules on the water, etc. Great fun for the boys and a chance to prove themselves. For the night, we simply went to the shore and moored to trees and poles. This is allowed in places without vegetation and is much quieter, nicer and cheaper than spending the night in the harbour.

Aaaaaand I'm online again. You can hardly imagine how few mobile data connection there is in the high-tech wonderland Germany. Most of the time I couldn't even open noise. Notifications are apparently deleted after two days, so I decided to just ignore the past week here. I will relive the week's holiday here next week and share it with you. No exact route, nothing too private, but I can promise you a few beautiful glimpses of nature. Tomorrow I'll sift through the pictures and then we'll start the journey.
Probably my last noise... for the next 8 days. Holiday, offline time, you know. Today it's retro. Epic Games gives you a new old #free #PC #game. - DOOM 64 DOOM 64, an action-packed first-person shooter and direct successor to DOOM II, was originally released on the Nintendo 64 in 1997. To celebrate DOOM's 25th anniversary, an Enhanced Edition of DOOM 64 was released on PC and consoles in 2020 - and now here too! Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtvHGrPyJw8 As always, have fun and don't miss me too much! Maybe there will be a sign of life, but photos won't be available until the end of the month. Noise on! Oh, that also means that I won't be announcing the free game next week. That's why I'm already telling you today. It will be "Ring of Pain". 😎
Greetings from the apple tree. About 50 sparrows live in this tree but you rarely see them and only hear them. This little guy watched me for a while today and obviously wanted to be photographed. Of course I am happy to do him this favour.
Rain at last! And of the heavy kind. Thunder, darkness in the middle of the day, heavy wind and then it started. The soil desperately needs the rain and so we were all happy today. The first picture gives an impression of the situation, the second is my attempt to freeze the moment and show single drops.
