As good as the new site is, the German translation is poor. Example: someone has 0 hearts (translation: 0 mag = 0 like) I click on the heart, then it says 1 wie = 1 how Hard to translate where the error lies here. But I suggest to let native speakers do the translations, not algorithms. If there is interest, I am available for the German translation, @simon ... Oh, and it would be nice to enter a Screenshot by ctrl+v without saving every screenshot as a file and upload it afterwards.

I use the English version because I'm used to it and there are no errors :) I was surprised that Czech translation is available, too. It's not very common.
That would be no problem at all but German was "preinstalled" here so I wanted to give it a try. If it stays like this now I will change to English.
I've experienced the same with the Dutch version. It's a Google Translate translation I think.
The words changed in the last days so I hope it's done manually. Maybe copied by a translator. I have to have a deeper look in the source code.
Hello, my dear friend, nice to meet you here too. I use the translator program too, but for me it's work great Have a lovely day!
It works in general but there are a few spots that are translated badly. But the translation in general is a great improvement.
+1 on the inability to paste. I'm pretty sure we could do that on nCash, no? Would also be cool if we could ctrl+enter to post. We can't do that on nCash either, and it's always kinda bothered me because that's (almost) a universal shortcut.
Pasting will come as it is a great feature in the old noise. At least I hope so. Ctrl+Enter might also be possible. Some days ago a post was sent by pressing Enter and that got fixed. Should also be possible to do this the other way.
yayy you are here :) musta po?
😁 the new noise works
Oo ate! Doing good! I just joined a few days ago 😄
Manual translations are coming some time later. For now it's automatic. So, "1 like" is "1 wie" because "something is _like_ something" ("etwas ist _wie_ etwas"). Obviously, the automatic translation didn't catch "like" as in "mag", but rather as in "wie". Should be fixed soon.
Thank you for the answer. I'm glad to hear that a manual translation is planned. As I said, when the time comes, I'll be happy to offer my help if needed. The correct translation would be: "1 mag das" and "X mögen das" or simply 1 like and X likes, which is now also used in German. The date could also use some improvement. "Vor 1 Stunde/Tag" and "Vor 8 Stunden/Tagen" would be correct here. So thanks again for your great work here.
Yes, the dates are bad in all languages for now. They will definitely be improved. We'll update the "likes". Thank you!
You're welcome, glad to help. If you have any further questions, just get in touch!
I see the update, that was quick! If there is a possibility to distinguish singular and plural in the code: from 2 hearts (plural) I would write "mögen das". Sorry, I don't want to be a pain. My brain forces me to ;)
It's not a pain, it's great. I'm very thankful that you help us with this!
I'm glad to hear that. The spirit of good old noise. And you've already built it in, great! If there should be a database for translation later on that can be edited without doing any damage, I'll be happy to join. Besides being a native speaker, I also have some knowledge of website development, so it doesn't have to be a word document... Oh, btw. The Send button. "Senden" would be enough. Senden Sie is pretty formal. It's not wrong but sounds like "Please Sir/Madam, would you be so kind to send your message."
Thanks, we will update this! Yes, there should be a better way to suggest translation changes. We'll need to think about it. There are so many things to do, though :)
Just found another one... The likes, (mag das, mögen das) are still translated the old way when looking at my own posts in "My profile". And the "New Post" button might be translated "Neuer Beitrag" "Stelle" means place or spot. Thanks for the patience with the old grumbler ^^
All of these should work now! Thank you! Let me know if something is broken.
Cool! If you need someone for the Dutch translation, just let me know.
Thanks! You can switch to the Dutch translation and see if anything is wrong there. If you find something - you can reply to me or send me a direct message. We'll be fixing whatever we can :)
Great! I will!
