I think a lot of us take this verse for granted. You really need to put it into perspective of Paul. This wasn’t a simple confession that many take out for today. It was a life and death commitment. Saying it was a life and death matter in the immediate future. It could get you killed or worse. Saying this was very dangerous and the Romans were looking for excuses to kill Christians. Caesar was king and an admission that someone else was king was a death sentence. Next time you say our, know how serious it is. Amen.
