Jesus just told his disciples that a lot was going to happen and it was going to seem very terrible. It was going to be a very troubling time and it would seem like the end of their world. But he tells them to believe in Him and believe in God. I really feel this becoming the fulcrum that gives followers of Christ such amazing strength in times of trouble. When the world is on fire and evil seems to be triumphing, we can trust in the Lord that everything will be alright and we are just passing through a temporary phase. Christ always wins and we are on His team.
