Merry Christmas. I love the title that it gives Christ. Wonderful amazing. Counselor- He understands us like no one else can. Mighty God- the big guy. Everlasting Father- our father in heaven. And the Prince of Peace for freeing us from our sins. Really sums up our Lord, Jesus Christ. Thank you Isaiah. ;).

He’s described in this scripture as Mighty God NOT Almighty God. This is because Jesus is NOT God but God’s son. You can’t be the Father and the son of that father at the same time. Everything that Jesus does and did on earth was given to him by his father wether you call him Yahweh, Jehovah, Iehovah. When Jesus said “whoever has seen me has seen the Father also” he didn’t mean he was God, he meant he did everything the way God wanted him to do in perfect reflection of God. So what we read about how Jesus treated people, including the poor, the sick, women, etc is exactly how God treats people. Soon that Kingdom that Jesus spoke of will rule over all of humanity, destroying human governments and taking control. Isaiah 65, Revelation 21:3,4, and John 5:28,29 are just some of the scriptures that show what this government will do for humanity right here on Earth, not in heaven.
