Today verse comes right after John 3:16. This verse is truly magnificent because it flips the old prophecy on its head. Before Christ, they were expecting a warrior messiah to defeat the evil and judge the worthy. However Christ didn’t come to do that. He came to offer the ultimate sacrifice to save. Truly a beautiful Verse.
