Jesus- Action and Words John 13:14 *If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.* Today's verse tells us something about the Lord. While there are so many wonderful attributes and actions, his humility is genuinely amazing. As humans, we tend to judge by our senses. If we come across people who don’t fit into our idea of how humans should be, most of us tend to ignore, avoid, or insult the individual. In this verse, Christ washes his disciple’s feet. While today, most of us would never think of that, He used this example of how we should humble ourselves to others. Can we be like Christ and not see people by what our senses and prejudices tell us to? While washing others' feet is an extreme measure, especially considering the lack of proper footwear and the lack of athletes' foot medicine at the time, it shows us that if the King of Kings did it, so should we.
