Take the Hand of the Lord, and tell others Isaiah 41:13 NRSV For I, the LORD your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Do not fear, I will help you.” Today's verse gives us great reassurance that everything is going to be alright. It really blows me away that we are so important to the Lord that He is holding our hand as a father holds a child's. He is also taking the time to be with us. When I was young, I would go to church, listen and mimic everyone else. But no one took the time to explain to me the intimacy that God seeks to have with us. It wasn't until I started studying the Bible by myself that I found that He was offering to get close to me. Of course, maybe I was told this before, and I was too young to pay attention. Anyway, I think it is always good to bring up this verse and topic with other followers. Maybe they know it, but maybe they don't. Let's take this opportunity to improve our relationship with the Lord and take his hand.
