Today’s verse reminds us of the Lord wonderful characteristic to forgive. Two key words that cause misunderstanding in our modern world are sin and iniquity. Chattah, which often translated “sin”, means to miss the mark. Awon is iniquity and relates to the inner character and intentional deviation from a standard. Forgiveness in Hebrew, I’m told, means to life a burden. Praise the Lord for His love and forgiveness. Amen!
