Tonight’s dinner is a very Hakka Chinese meal. That’s my wife’s ethic group. We have rice wine chicken soup - three bottles of rice wine and one bowl of water. Chicken intestine, eggs and chili, and three dishes of vegetables. Very delicious. Just don’t drink too much soup ;)

This is the view from our mountain hike. If you look closely, there is a temple in the distance. In the picture, it’s hard to see because the color is almost the same. But in reality it’s reddish orange and the mountains are bluish. I don’t know why the color changed.

Today not as much exercise. We need more time to prepare lunch. Today we are teaching the students to make hamburgers from scratch. Even the buns are from scratch. So it will be a busy morning with a nice reward.

Here’s our summer camp DIY hamburger products. We are starting with the buns. Requires a little strength and finesse, so the really y small kids can’t do much. If you kneed the dough too much, it won’t turn it well.

Now we are preparing the onions(cooked and raw), bacon, and the buns are ready to be cooked. It’s taking longer than we planned, but that’s okay the kids are having fun. Well have our hamburgers a little late for lunch.

This is a tradition Chinese easy to treat heat exposure. It’s called gwa sha. You take a round object and scrape the skin away from the head and down. The more serious, the more painful it is and the more bruising is on the skin.
