Right before the Christmas party at the elementary school, my wife and I took a funny picture. This is important because three hours of being Santa in an elementary school really takes a toll on your patience. So it’s better to approach it with a good sense of humor.

These are the presents for the raffle at our Christmas party. The students are really excited, but the teachers are exhausted. I’m really exhausted because I was Santa for hours at the elementary school two times this week and I’m Santa for this party, too. Running low on energy, but glad the students are happy.

Getting ready for the Christmas party. I have to drink ahead of time. Even though my beard is mostly white, we put some whitener in it to make it whiter. After we put it in, I can’t read or drink anything or else it will mess up my beard. So I’m having Christmas coffee. Did you have your coffee?

Now the party is over. The leaves are gone. It’s time to clean. We have to move the desks and chairs back fun the 3rd floor to the 2nd. The floors need to be swept and mopped. I have four bags of garbage and two bags of recycling. We are all tired, but it’s better to clean now. Then on Monday morning the school is neat and orderly. Did you have fun today?

Food trippers- this was the potluck from our Christmas party. Unfortunately, I was Santa, so by the time I finished and washed the white out of my beard——- the good stuff was gone. But the students had fun. Merry Christmas—-happy birthday Jesus.

Exhausted, my friend. Very exhausted. Another Christmas finished. I hope the kids had fun. I wish I could do more. I bring Christ into the parties when I can. But it’s course, kids are too young to appreciate Him. I pray that Christ finds a way into their lives as He did in mine;)

The Christmas gift I got my mother finally came. It’s late but she says she loves it. There was a back up at the company that arranged the flowers. Oh well. Everyone is happy. Right?

Here are some flowers that my wife and I found on our morning walk. I forgot to post them. These flowers tell me that everything is going to be okay. This is reassuring because I’m booking a flight to visit my mom and it’sa a lot of trouble. All kinds of extra paperwork. Hope you’re day was more fun;)

Today was another busy day. Life still isn’t back to normal since Christmas. I’m trying to go back to see my mother and it’s difficult to arrange every thing. I’m sure it will be okay.

Now comes one of the sad parts of being Santa at the elementary school. What to do with tons of Christmas cards to Santa. I would love to save them but I don’t have room. Any suggestions? I feel bad recycling them.

Good morning! Last day of the year. We are going to take down the Christmas tree at the school as well as the Christmas lights and then box them up for next year. Usually I like to keep up the lights longer, but the boss (my wife) says time to put it away and welcome the new year fresh. When do you take down your Christmas decorations?

All the lights are down, t tree disassembled. The games are wrapped in plastic so we can use them next year. Every thing is boxed and ready for storage. A busy day for my day off;). Good bye Christmas and good bye 2021.

My sister in law is catering for an event tomorrow. She will prepare 14 tables if food. These are the chicken that she boils with soy sauce and other ingredients. On a short time, they will be so tender that the meat will slide off the bone tomorrow. Smells delicious too ;).

Here’s tonight’s dinner. Mostly leftovers. A hot chicken soup to fight off cold. Cabbage, tofu, eggs cooked with tomatoes, stewed pork and tangerine. All are welcome. Come on over.
