Today I'm talking about something controversial, there are people that believe that Satoshi created Monero.
This sounds like a conspiracy theory but like every theory it has some valid points.
When Satoshi disappear from the web he said that he was going to focus in other things other than Bitcoin. Monero only came to life in 2014. Many features that Satoshi talked that Bitcoin didn't have were all introduced in Monero, being privacy the main focus. The creator of Monero is also unknown, that makes the conspiracy even more credible.
If we think about what Satoshi was trying to create with Bitcoin, a peer to peer cash system with anonimity, we see that this wasn't accomplished with BTC but with Monero it was. Monero still is unbreakable and seems to be forever. This was all what Satoshi wanted for digital cash, being him a cypherpunk himself this ideas are very popular in cypherpunks communities.
Monero only lacks a max. supply, but the inflation is so slow that in some cases can be advantageous.
The writing of Monero creator is also very similar to Satoshi's writing.
Do you think Satoshi created Monero to perfect what he wanted BTC to be or is this all a conspiracy theory?
