The Insane Feature Of eUTXO: anetaBTC Airdrop

This week we witnessed something great, there were two airdrops of NETA, anetaBTC governance token. AnetaBTC is providing a bridge to implement BTC on Ergo blockchain and after that on Cardano, since both blockchains are built on the eUTXO model both implementation should be almost the same to do. They are working with Kyber Network, the pioneer of Wrapped Bitcoin on Ethereum.

What is the big news after all?

First anetaBTC airdroped 1000 addresses in only one transaction saving a lot in fees and making it a little bit simplier. After that they weren't done yet and made another airdrop, this time to 3000 addresses and in one transaction also. This is simply amazing, this model provides some features that are not possible in other models. Imagine how easy and cheap it is to do an airdrop and market your token through an airdrop. Ergo even has a straightforward guide to do this and a platform that makes things even easier for the average user.

This model has received some criticism because of the concurrency issues but this problems are being solved and we already have a working DEX on ERGO, ERGODEX. Cardano seems to be ready to have some DEXs in the coming weeks also, despite of some problems that could slow transactions. The good part is that this all can be solved and once everything is setup we might see a model that will compete directly with major protocols in the DeFi space.

Cardano has also an insane feature, you can check your address for airdrops that you qualified for on DripDropz and collect 10 different airdrops at once with a low fee. This was made to make it easier for airdrops to happen and make it cheaper. Everyone that has a staked Cardano wallet can collect DripDropz governance tokens, 1k tokens every epoch. Although things look slow to grow on eUTXO model blockchains, when they launch they seem to amaze people, we might be on the start of something great.
