Everyone is predicting a Altseason in the comming times, bitcoin is doing ATH day by day, it is expected that the money starts flowing in Altcoins too. Some of them may do a 100x run, but it's difficult to predict what coin will be exactly. What you can do is learning from the past and researching some good projects.
Some safe bets are always the bitcoin based cryptocurrencies, LTC normally does very well in a bull run, as you can see it already the coin has grown steady in value over the weeks. BCH is a low risk hold to because like LTC it perfomes well in a bull run. XMR and Dash can be a very good buy aswell. This are some historical tips that you can have, don't forget ETH because it is extremely undervalue.
Some new coins can be a good investment too, but with a higher risk, we don't know how they perform in a major bull run, what we can do is look at the potential of the coin. ADA looks very good to hold long term and can make a run this season, Tezos has shown that can beat a 3 dollars barrier and past through it, so in a bull run it can indicate that it can go to a ATH. One of the high risk ones is Algorand, good partnerships, good team, average handling of the network. Algo can perform very well in a bull run, it is under the top 50 market cap coins, the potential is there and we have seen a move to 0.6$ in the past, so a bull run can do a great thing and maybe close the coin to an ATH.
High risk coins that i think maybe it can perform very well, Verge (XVG), this coin is closing its mining cycle, there are not much XVG to be mined left. This is a everything can happen, when mining stops maybe scarcity makes the price move up, put it together with a bull run and there is potential here. It is a privacy coin and privacy coins tend to do well. ZCash project looks great and as i see it it is extremely undervalue, this coin can compete with XMR for the first place of privacy coins with its zero protocol algorithm, you can send completely anonymous transactions or choose to send public transaction, this is what makes this coin so complete. Ravencoin can come back to top 100 market cap coins as the DAG of ETH increases over 4GB. Many miners can direct their 4GB GPU to RVN and make it more difficult to mine which can result in a higher volume and higher market cap, with a bull run this coin can moon but it's very high risk to predict this.
The DeFi tokens will always hold hand with their blockchain, so ERC-20 and NFT can jump in price as a bull run starts. Keep an eye on smart contracts platforms, if the blockchain token moves up like TRX, XTZ, ADA, etc., their DeFi tokens can make a move up too.
Right now i'm holding LTC, ADA, BCH, Algo and XTZ. I think this coins can be very productive short term and some long term. I am also looking to increase my portfolio with coins mentioned above.
