Hello, todays subject will be a person named Larimer, he is the creator of the EOS blockchain, a fast and cheap blockchain, most famous for the game UpLand right now. Today this person announced a new project, he said it is in the begining fase but it will be a project focused on information flow, trying to disrupt Twitter and Facebook.
The project isn't why I am talking about this, the thing is, this guy was involved in so many projects and in all of them he ditch them and sold all his coins leaving the projects in the verge of collapsing, if they still exist it's only because the community didn't let it die.
Are we supposed to give this guy anymore credit? He keeps jumping between projects getting richier in the process. What will make us believe he won't do the same with this one?
Just a little review for context, this guy first created Bitshares in its time a very good project, that allowed people to trade fiat to crypto. He got out of the project and now the project is driven by the community. Second project, Steem, a great social media type blockchain, users were paid in Steem if their post was liked a lot and seen many times, information was flowing so well and it was a good alternative to the centralized Twitter and Facebook. Once again he left in the middle of the project leaving a great community and project behind. Luckily the project involved into what is called now Hive, thanks to the community. Third project, the biggest one, the one meant to beat ETH, at times a top ten blockchain, EOS. In this one everyone was very excited about it, it raised the biggest ICO in history, a ton. of money to make this project flourish. What happened this past year? He sold all his EOS for BTC and once again left a good project behind, leaving the community angry but with the desire to make EOS succeed, we have to see where it is going yet.
I can only take one conclusion, he is here not to contribute but to get rich every step of the way, he wasn't satisfied with one he left other two projects. My bet is that this one will go the same way, so be aware with his projects, he has a fame of taking the profit and run.
