Bitcoin cash and my charity.

I just got done handing out another batch of pizzas in Philadelphia. This time, I was able to find a new area where a lot of homeless people gather around. I had to park illegally a few times and run to hand the food to them - http://cryptohomeless.home.blog (images all here).

When I gave out my last pizza for the day, a homeless person came out of his tent and thanked me for the food. He also said that he would make sure that the others nearby would get some as well. I could see that he had visible track-marks all over his arms and that really got me feeling sad. I knew that in order for him, as well as most other homeless people, to get out of their situation - a change from within is really what is required. This isn't easy or even possible for many - but I've seen some drastic changes in people's lives. I really believe that maybe - just MAYBE - giving them food in a time of need might give them a push in the right direction.

As a small independent charity - I know that I can't solve homelessness - but even full governments are currently struggling to do anything about it. All we can do is just help them out to the best of our ability.

On my drive home, I was reminiscing about the days when I first began this charity. I had absolutely nothing to lose and an idea to pitch to random people on reddit. I didn't really need EVERYONE's support - I just needed one or two people who believed in me to get things rolling - and that came from the bitcoin cash community. A simple $20 donation allowed me to go out the following day and buy food for the homeless and really prove that I was going to do what I said I would do. Fast forward to today, and bitcoin cash remains in the top 3 most donated coins in my charity. Thank you BCH.
