If only Google would respect your privacy and share some of those $billions in profit they make on your head.
Thankfully, Presearch does both, plus more.
In this post, I will be sharing with you 3 reasons why I feel you should be using Presearch as your primary (if not sole) search engine.
If you have no idea what Presearch is, I suggest you first read my previous article:
That's arguably the best FA on Presearch on the internet right now. So give it a read.
3 reasons to use Presearch
You earn 25 PRE tokens upon Signup.
You earn up to 8 PRE per day for using the search engine.
Your searches on Presearch is private and anonymous.
Let's briefly discuss each of these reasons below.
1. Earn 25 PRE signup bonus
Each new user who registers a Presearch account gets a 25 PRE welcome bonus.
One can simply use the Presearch search engine without having to create an account on the platform. Just go to presearch.org from your browser and begin searching away.
However, to enjoy the search, referral, and other rewards as well as use any of the supported services on Presearch, such as Keyword Staking, you will need to create an account. This requires only your email address and your preferred password.
And you will be rewarded with 25 PRE tokens just for signing up. At current prices of $0.1 per token, that's $2.5 just for registering.
2. Earn PRE for searching with Presearch
Every search you make on Presearch earns you a variable amount of PRE tokens based on multiple factors.
The maximum number of PRE you can earn per day is currently capped at between 3 and 4 and I believe this will adjust automatically as the value of the PRE token fluctuates.
The PRE you earn for search is obviously a share of the revenue generated from advertisers who purchase and spend PRE tokens to be able to display their ads to you when you search.
When you search the internet using Google, Presearch, or any there search engine for that matter you're adding value to them.
In a normal situation, some of that value is supposed to be transferred to you the user.
But most search engines do not reward you for using their platform, except Presearch. This is yet another reason some of us will rather search with Presearch than Google.
3. Enjoy a decentralized, private and anonymous search experience
The main unique selling point (USP) of Presearch is that it is a decentralized search engine powered by the community.
That means that unlike Google and most search engines, there's no central data centre to store and retrieve search results.
Rather, there're hundreds and probably thousands of independent individuals running the Presearch nodes and using their computer to serve search results. In return, they earn rewards on PRE tokens for their services.
This makes the search engine nearly impossible to short down as it will require putting out all the individual nodes scattered all over the world all at once, which is nearly impossible.
More so, searches on research are private and anonymous.
Unlike most search engines, especially the monstrous Google, Presearch does not collect or store any of your personally identifiable data or search terms.
Thus making using Presearch appealing to especially people like us who take their privacy seriously.
Conclusion
It's important to note that Presearch is best enjoyed if one doesn't attempt to turn it into a "token farm". Don't try to game the system by performing random, meaningless and even automated searches solely with the aiming of accumulating tokens.
I suggest you use the search for normal searches and take the various reward opportunities as a bonus.
With the increasing concerns for privacy and decentralization, combined with a solid business model and a competent and committed team, Presearch is one of those projects you would want to keep an eye on for long term investment
What's more, the PRE token is one of my long-term gems. And I believe that between now and 2025 the token should be worth between $5 to $20.
