Six (6) places in the world you are not allowed to visit
The world is a giant playground with a lot of technological advancements in medicine, entertainment, communication, transportation and so on. Thus advancements in transportation means we can travel to any part of the world regardless of distance without any restriction or limitation provided you are travelling under legal documentations and not bypassing any laws.
There are so many fascinating things about the world which are yet to be explored, places which we would expect to simply pick up our travel gears and explore without restriction especially if you are a travel persona or a travel blogger. Surprisingly there are so many places in the world that are off limit; while some are military bases and secret research facilities, some are simply cut off from modern civilization and are in complete isolation.
You may find this surprising but there are so many restricted areas, over fifty to hundred places that you are not allowed to visit irrespective of your status or position.
Below is a list of six places in the world that are completely off bounds - you are not allowed to visit.
1. Snake Island
Even if you wanted to visit an island full of snakes, you can't. Snake Island is located about 93 miles away from Sao Paulo the most populated city in Brazil. It is completely shut off from the public due to the fact that it is swarming with snaked.
There are about one to five snakes per square meter and the majority of them are venomous.
The Brazilian navy had forbidden anyone from coming to this island unless they have a written consent for scientific research.
This place is not for you even if you are a lover of snakes due to the restrictions. If you were somehow able to bypass restrictions, you are not going to make it out alive.
2. The Vatican secret archives
The Vatican secret archives located in the CittΓ del vaticano, is completely shutoff from the public and is owned by the pope in the Vatican city.
It contains a series of secret documents and what these documents are about remains a mystery. Many wonder what the Catholic Church could be hiding from their followers. Some believe evidence of extraterrestrial lives or other documents that would describe the Catholic Church lies within. It is said that some important religious documents could be here.
But what else could there be, Angels or demons? We'd never know.
3. The Coca-Cola vault
The Coca-Cola vault located in Atlantic Georgia has a secret recipe that imitators and competitors would love to get their hands on.
The recipe was previously locked at a new York bank in 1920 and was transferred to the Trust Company Bank in Atlants until 2011 when the company decided to move the recipe to an Atlanta museum- a completely restricted region for tourists.
The Coca-Cola recipe is fiercely guarded like a priceless jewel and legend has it that only two or three employees actually know the true recipe in this vault.
If you're a fan of the Coca-Cola drink, you can only buy this drink amd enjoy it but not allowed to know it's secret.
4. Buckingham Palace
For those of you who want to add the Buckingham Palace to your next trip in the UK, be sure to exclude the Queen's bedroom because it's not allowed for people to see your private sleeping quarters.
The room is heavily guarded.
In 1982 a man by the name of Micheal Fagan broke into Buckingham Palace. He managed to scale a 14 foot fence and broke into he royal living quarters, waking her up rhek sat the edge of her bed. (Creepy but true).
This was considered one of the greatest lapses of royal security in great Britain.
After the break in Micheal Fagan was only charged with the theft of wine since trespassing was only a civil offence at time.
Be sure to skip the Queen's private quarters when you visit Buckingham Palace or you'd be charged for trespassing.
5. North Sentinel Island
"North Sentinel Island is one of the Andaman Islands, an Indian archipelago in the Bay of Bengal which also includes South Sentinel Island. It is home to the Sentinelese, an indigenous people in voluntary isolation who have defended, often by force, their protected isolation from the outside world"
This island in the Indian ocean is not somewhere you want to bring your wife and family because the locals don't take too kindly to outsiders. They are known for shooting fire arrows and throwing rocks are intruders.
The Bengal government has declared this island off limits and if you decide to not take their advise do this at your own risk.
Someone tried to get on the island and they pretty much threw several arrows into his body.
6. Fort knox
You certainly will not be getting a tour guide when visiting the inside of Fort Knox because it's not a place you are allowed to go.
The United States Bullion Depository polularly known as fort knox located in Kentucky, holds the gold bullion supply of the United States without which the paper dollar would be worthless.
Only a few people are allowed inside, the vaults are reinforced and protected with blast proof security.
You might want want to pick a different place of you're planning to pull off a huge heist.
And many more....
There are many more places in the world with restricted access but I've only shared six out of the many examples out there.
It should be known that This is strictly for entertainment and education purpose.
