Gifts to not give your girlfriend this valentine

There are times when you're obliged to get a present for your girlfriend. Some guys are not exactly thorough when it comes to presents, they just let it slide. They sort of go with the flow and simply grab something right at hand. When that happens, girls are not exactly happy about what they get as it’s far from what they expect.

This article focuses on the WORST kind of presence you can get for your girlfriend.

It should be noted that my opinion is not the best, neither is it perfect. I mean I don't know anything, I'm just speculating.

A Book

A Book isn't necessarily a bad present, on the contrary it's a great present and while most people will be happy to receive a book as a gift, there are certain types of girls who might think that you buy them books because you assume that they're dumb and unintelligent.

It happens so many times that it has become a pattern and many couples actually do break up because of such silly little things.

A Fake earring

You want to buy your maid a beautiful pair of earrings, but you don't have enough money at hand, you shouldn't think about buying cheap fakes. Your girlfriend won’t thank you for a cheap pair of fake studs. Oh no she won’t!

Perhaps it's best if you go with a classic solution and get your babe a bottle of champagne, some chocolate, and some flowers. This method has been tested a million times and it works.

Stuffed Toys

Stuffed toys are cute and fluffy, and they please the eye but in the long run they become ultimate dust collectors. So even though most girls will be happy to get a toy or two, there's no way they will use them in the long term, so I'd say it's an impractical approach.

Scales

No offence, but you must be crazy if you want to give your girlfriend scales (an object used for checking weights) as a present they're basically saying that she's fat and ugly and stupid, and that’s a sure way to end the relationship before it even starts.

It's the same as if you buy your girlfriend an anti-wrinkle cream or anti-dandruff shampoo or a haemorrhoids medicine. These sorts of presents are only acceptable when the girl herself asks you to buy them herself.

A pet

you must have a big haul in your hat if you consider buying your girlfriend a living creature such as a cute little puppy, or a kitten. You’re probably wondering why. It’s simply because it's a huge responsibility, there's always a chance that your girlfriend might have terrible allergies. Unless you want your girlfriend to suffocate or make her abandon the poor animal because of the lack of time as taking care of an animal is a huge responsibility.

Money

If for some reason known to you and you alone, you've decided to give your girlfriend some money instead of a present, wow! This might work for crack cocaine addicts lol.

Most girls probably wouldn't appreciate the gesture. They’re likely to think that you didn't want to bother yourself with searching for the perfect present and decided to stick it on the bill. You’re indirectly making them feel like they are not worth the stress of searching for the perfect gift.

Kitchen utensils

Kitchen utensils can be easily misinterpreted, a girl might think that you're trying to imply that she's a bad cook or that you might think that you think that women are only good for cooking and cleaning.

So, think before buying your girlfriend a pan because there's always a chance that it might hit you back in the face (Pun intended).

With all, the best thing you can do is at least a tiny bit of research, try learning her habits and preferences and once you master them and you finally have an idea about what it is that she likes, go ahead, and get that perfect present!
