The Most Important Blessing: Thinking
What makes man different from all other living things is his ability to think. With the ability to think, people can weigh the rightness or wrongness of any action they will take and act accordingly. So much so that what makes one person better than the other, even in religious requirements, is to think and find the truth and put this truth into action. To give general examples, because we live in a world where religious values differ, different beliefs are adopted, and there are people who do not have faith, it is wrong to take a person's life from his right to live. An individual who can think consciously and put this into his actions chooses not to kill any human being; he is superior to another person who kills in this way. Killing someone is of course an exaggerated example, and to include general but more naive examples; such as being a virtuous person, living a life within the framework of moral or ethical values, not engaging in activities that restrict the freedom of the people you live with, etc. Many of these were actually regulated under international law and every individual with the ability to think freely was expected to comply with them.
However, the world is not exactly the place we want or think, and unfortunately there are many people who do not comply with the actions that everyone is expected to comply with and disturb the peace of their environment, then their own society and then the world.
In order to make our living space more reliable, more livable and more peaceful, we, as individuals, must first start with ourselves and know how to question with this thinking ability bestowed on us. Regardless of our beliefs, values, and ideas, we should think twice before turning every action we take or do into action, and we should be able to take the next step accordingly. After we can provide this in ourselves, it is the turn of other individuals around us, even in our society, and even in the world with whom we share our beliefs and values. People from the father who curses his child at home, to our friend who gives us a cigarette when we go out; from a man in our neighborhood who stole someone else's belongings on the street to the corruption committed by the administrator who runs our municipality; He should be able to question everything, from the teacher who is unfair to someone who does not have his own opinion in our class, to the country manager who does injustice to other individuals in the society who do not like his own thoughts. They should be able to question and make decisions accordingly. He should measure the value and importance he gives to people accordingly, and if necessary, he should be able to contradict even his favorite person "if he is doing it wrong"
As long as he runs after the truth and goodness...
