The tributes from his children
First child
Father I never knew you are going to leave us so soon. In the morning of the day to your death, we chatted and you are your breakfast and took your drugs as usual in my presence. Later in the night, I was called that you did not eat your dinner. When I came you said, " haba o tun wa ni" ( This is a father who did not want problems or troubles for his children) I replied that I was told you are not eating again. I prepared tea for you and drank some from my hand. Not knowing that was the end. You said "Tete wa ma lo si Ile, Ile ti su" i.e be going home it is late in the night already. I left you until I was called early in the morning on 12th September 2020, I rushed in to see that you have gone to be with the Lord unbelievable!
Baba you are kind hearted, hardworking and generous to all. I remember when you are into farming, during harvesting period you distributed yams and other products to all your children and others in most cases you will even day that, If not enough come to the farm and take more. He was not just a father to his children alone but father to all. Baba you are a loving and caring father, you care for everybody and you did not mind spending your last kobo on the needy or those who come in contact with you.
