Let's talk about the fastest running animal in the world.

The Cheetah can run at a speed of 117 kmph and can reach a speed of 100 kmph in just three seconds, which is equivalent to the speed of the 2020 sports car Honda Acura NSX. The cheetah is thought to control its speed according to its prey's ability to run, and the speed may be higher.

It used to be spread across Asia, Europe, and Africa, but now it is extinct and is confined to a few African countries, such as So Dawn, Namibia, Tanzania, and a few areas in South Africa. Its breed in Asia is limited to Iran. Remember that many animals (pictures) like a leopard, such as a leopard, jaguar, wild cats, the tiger which is commonly called cheetah, are not cheetahs and many of them are seen in Pakistan which we mistakenly call cheetahs.

The cheetah lives in large dry grasslands where it preys on dry straw-eating animals such as deer, barangays, and wild rabbits. He has dark round spots on his body which help him to camouflage in the long grass. It has 2,000 black spots on its body and the spots of each leopard are as different from the other as the zebra's stripes which can be identified by many. They have a tear-like black design under their eyes that actually helps them reflect sunlight so they can focus on their prey, and they have the best nerve network in their eyes that gives them Makes faster and more sensitive.

Hiding in the grass, they reach about 200 feet of their prey and attack it. And grasp it within a maximum of one minute. Their claws are large and up to the top, which helps them to apply the brakes at once, their heart and lungs are large, the arrangement of teeth in the mouth, the thick nostrils, and The quality of the blood have been created to such an extent that it restores their breathing in a matter of seconds, despite running at such a tremendous speed. There are many deer that run in the form of ZigZag to save their lives. The leopard's tail has such a powerful feature that while running it maintains its balance by turning it like a steering wheel to the right or left of the vehicle and knocking its prey down with its claws or snatching it from its neck and within five minutes Suffocates. It takes about a minute to run after its prey. It does not catch longer and leaves such prey.

It usually needs four kilograms of meat a day and can eat up to ten kilograms. It weighs 20 to 65 kilograms, but the prey weighs less than 40 kilograms so that it can be enjoyed for several days. They rarely hunt large buffaloes and even if they do, they do so in groups. The female usually does this with her young children. Due to their location in a dry, low-water area, their system is such that if they drank water one and a half times a day, they could easily survive for four days.

Leopards urinate on a particular rock or tree and make their mark or habitat on it, which they can recognize by sniffing and reach their place. They mate with many females in life and do not take care of females or children. Females like to be alone and make their home on the swampy surface of tall grass. After three months of gestation, it gives birth to one to eight cubs, of which very few survive and are preyed upon mostly by lions, leopards, and eagles (especially when the mother is out hunting for them). Cubs become full young at 20 months and begin their lives.

The cheetah is a day hunter and rests at night while the lion and leopard are tiger hunters.

Can a lion eat a leopard?

Yes, he can eat, but due to the different hunting times of the two, their encounters are very rare. In addition, the cheetah likes to stay a hundred meters away from the lion.

Can a cheetah eat a human?

To date, no case has been found in which a leopard has killed a human. Leopards stay away from humans and are less angry, so they are easier to tame. However, they must enter the herd of cattle and come to take their share, where when they resist, they make small attacks on human beings and are killed by human beings. Many such reasons have brought their generation to the brink of extinction.

It is estimated that there are only 43 leopards left in Iran and 7,100 in Africa. The main reasons for this are the construction of roads in the grasslands, the growth of other plants, and residential construction. At the same time, there is a reason for deer to be hunted by humans, which is the main source of livelihood for leopards. Many wild tribes in Africa also take off their skins and perform some of their religious rites on them and sell them. India is trying to repatriate Iranian or African cheetahs in the jungles but has not succeeded.

There are four breeds (pictures) while the breeding of different cheetahs has given birth to King cheetah whose body pattern is the most unique. It can run at the fastest speed of 128 km per hour in all cheetahs.

You will be amazed to know that these lions cannot roar in any way but make thin sounds similar to those of a cat. The average age of a male is 10 years, while females have been observed to live up to 15 years.
