Recently, Netflix announced that they will be making an anime adaptation of The way of the househusband, a famous manga due to its comedy and story on April 8, 2021. Some of you probably never heard of The way of the househusband so before we proceed, first, what is this manga?

Synopsis

Tatsu is currently 38 years old. In the past, he was a legendary yakuza and was known as "Immortal dragon" but he met a girl named Miku, they both got married so he retired from being a yakuza so that he can support his wife, Miku. The episodic series depicts a variety of comedic scenarios, typically wherein Tatsu's banal domestic work as a househusband is juxtaposed against his intimidating personality and appearance, and his frequent run-ins with former yakuza associates and rivals.

I've been reading this manga for some time now and I'm on chapter 50 so I can really guaranty you that this manga is so good and funny, here's an example if you don't believe me. (read from right to left)

Now, when Netflix announced that they will be creating an adaptation of this manga, Fans are so happy but recently when Netflix releases its official trailer and fans weren't happy at all.

Netflix exclusive which is animated by J.C. Staff has been criticized by fans over "Bad" animation. Apparently, the PV looks like a PowerPoint presentation. Here's what the fans said.

"If the entire anime is like this you might as well just read the manga

"the voice acting sounds soo good but it looks like they just colored some manga panels and put some sloppy lip animation on the characters..."

Now, in my opinion, the animation is not 'that' bad but it needs more upgrades and I can agree with the fans that it just looks like a PowerPoint presentation. But J.C. staff worked hard on it so we should appreciate their hard work, I mean...can they just be happy that it will be having an anime adaptation?. Anyways, I'm still excited to watch this, even my mother is looking forward to it so If you love watching comedies with a unique story, you should definitely try this one. Have a nice day/night!
