The Enigma of the Abandoned House [English][Ingles]
The abandoned house at the end of the street had always been a mystery to the residents of the area. It had been empty for decades and no one knew who its last owner had been or why it had been abandoned.
One night, a group of friends decided to investigate the abandoned house. Armed with flashlights, they entered through the front door and began to explore the house. Quickly they realized that something strange was happening there.
The rooms were empty, but the furniture was covered in dust and cobwebs, as if someone had been living there recently. In one of the rooms, they found an old diary that spoke of a man named John who had been wrongly imprisoned for a crime he did not commit.
As they continued to explore the house, they heard strange noises coming from the basement. They went down the stairs, and in the dim light, they saw a man who seemed to be hiding there. At first, they thought he was the owner of the house, but then they realized it was John, the man mentioned in the diary.
John explained that he had been hiding there since he was released from prison, living in the abandoned house while searching for evidence to prove his innocence. He told them he had found something important that would prove his innocence and he needed their help to take it to the police.
The friends, convinced by John's story, helped him take the evidence to the police. But when they arrived at the station, the police greeted them with surprise. They explained that John had died in prison years ago and his case had been resolved and closed.
The friends were perplexed. Had it all been a coincidence? Had they imagined everything they had seen and heard in the abandoned house? They would never know for sure, but the experience taught them not to judge appearances and to be cautious when exploring the unknown.
