Now I am 18 years old, an adult kid, who lives in benevolent sexism family. There was a time when I thought of myself as a happy human being. But over time, Bithan began to understand many things.Her parents loved her.But just as a girl. Bithan always wants to be seen and loved as a human being. But it is difficult to say that not everyone understands this.

Wait man, do you know what is benevolent sexism? Those compliments are sounds like compliments but don’t really feel like real words these are benevolent sexism. It is called benevolent sex which is a seemingly positive opinion of a woman. Benevolent sexism is a component of ambivalent sexism.I think the purpose of benevolent sexism and hostile sexism is almost the same. Women and girls are put down.

Benevolent sexism comprises three components:

First one is Protective paternalism. They belies that women are innocent, caring, warm and maternal. So Men should protect women. 2nd one is Complementary gender differentiation.They belief women are morally pure and weak. On the other hand men who are strong, independent, competent, morally corruptible. Last one is heterosexual intimacy, which is the belief that women and men are dependent on each other both emotional closeness and reproduction.

Let me give you some examples:

Always in pictures and in real life boys are called they are strong, they are Intelligent, they are hardworker and girls are called they are soft, they are gentle, they are pretty, they smell good, they are lovely. etc. People tell a girls that the environment outside is not good, you are not safe there, you do not go out. If possible, take your father or brother or husband. Why man? I came into the world to live independently.

These are perpetuating existing stereotypes about men and women.

Here is some so call compliments:

1. Don't be sad. You are black, short but intelligent.

2. Oh wow, you’re not like other girls at all!

3.Brain with beauty !!

4.For a woman, you are really focused about you career.It’s so great !!

5.Women are just naturally more caring!

6.Well done! You did a great jod as a girl.

7.You know about sports even though you’re a women.

Girls and ladies be aware, these are not compliments. Remarks that sound like compliments but are not really. So next time someone tries to put you down, feel uncomfortable. Then tell them what you think. Note, you are a human being first, then you are a woman.

Don’t get me wrong. Remember, not all women and men are human beings. I hate all women and men, but no human beings. I love all human beings.
