Being too young, it was not easy for us to get on the first train to be convinced of the accuracy of what our teachers said, but as the years went by and we got older, we started to check more and more of these places.

We know that you would not have forgiven us if we had omitted the symbol of Romanian royalty and we also know that you certainly visited it on a class trip or in an organized group at the faculty. Words are superfluous in the face of such a royal treasure.

The impressive curves of the Transfăgărășean, the ideal of any driver, took the news of this winder away from the Romanian borders. Maybe due to his courage to face without fear the high Mountains of Făgăraș and to unite Muntenia with Transylvania. It is a wild road, despite the conquest by man, where the steep mountainous shape blends harmoniously with the road, and the valley offers landscapes to stay in the soul. The mountain runs down the valley, but you can stop serenely on the side of the road to admire the fullness. And the sweet mountain air.

It's morning and you woke up. The first thought that comes to mind is that, after all the long and tiring road that brought you here last night, at the entrance of the Danube in the country, you want to be rewarded; you want the Danube to give you back from the effort you made coming here to see it in one of the most glorious places. You get out of bed and sleepily open the window, go out on the balcony and time stops. The glow of the water in the morning sun catches your eye, and the mountain on the shore in front of you seems to humbly follow the path of the too-proud river. You really are here: on the banks of the Danube, looking ahead at the Serbian land, surrounded by so much peace as if you were at the beginning of the world. At the Danube Gorge everything is lyricism and greatness, poetry and glory; more imposing than the statue of Decebalus is only the hurried flow of the Danube which, without a shyness, sets aside the mountains in its path to reach where fate has given it to reach: the sea. This is how we would describe the first minutes from the view of the Danube in this position of hers. If you want to satisfy your soul's cravings even more, all you have to do is take a boat ride for almost 2 hours.
Bridge from the God,Mehedinți
