Our human existence relates, to a large extent, to the sensations we experience, and those in the culinary area make their presence felt more and more in our lives. Contests, blogs, events, all intended for cooking or eating, introduce us to more and more special dishes and arouse our curiosity. Here are some of the dishes you should not miss:
1. Sush
Sushi is a traditional Japanese dish, in which the main ingredient is rice (sour with vinegar) combined with various other ingredients, cooked or raw, most often raw fish.
2. Paella
Paella is a traditional Valencian dish, a colorful mixture of rice and various types of meat, fish or seafood, seasoned with many herbs. The name comes from the dish in which this dish is cooked.
3. Plate of French cheeses
Served as an appetizer or snack, a plate of French cheese must bring together at least 3-5 types of cheese from the more than 400 types present in France, along with nuts, fruits and crackers.
4. Dim sum
Originally from Cantonese cuisine, dim sum is served in bowls or baskets in which small portions of steamed vegetables, meats, rice porridge and soups are prepared.
5. Authentic gelato
Gelato is a type of soft ice cream made from milk, cream, sugar, with aromas of walnut puree and fresh fruit. Authentic gelato must, by statute, contain at least 3.5% fat from the butter.
6. Asam laksa
It is a spicy soup containing rice noodles with chicken, fish or shrimp, based on coconut milk or asam (tamarind).
7. Tajine of honey
Named after the vessel in which it is cooked, tajine is a stew originating in North Africa in which lamb (and sometimes goat meat), leg or shoulder, is stewed in a clay pot together with spices and vegetables.
8. Lobster sandwich
Simple, but delicious and good-looking, the lobster sandwich is a North American butter lobster meat dish served on a bun similar to a hot dog bun, to which celery stalks or chopped onions and mayonnaise are sometimes added.
9. Fish and chips
Fish and french fries, the famous English dish, are both a sophisticated dish and an unpretentious street snack.
10. Moulles frites
French fries are a traditional Belgian dish popular in France and northern Europe. Half a kilo of mussels are smothered in white wine and butter, and depending on the type of preparation, vegetables, noble cheeses and herbs can be added.
