Get In, Let's Unlearn Our Toxic Behavior Together

Human as we are can’t deny the fact that we have our own toxic traits. It’s true. We even remove toxic people because it’s bad for our mental health and we choose to forgive and move on.

But what if you are the Toxic One?

Sometimes we go further our limitations and we hurt people without even realizing it. It’s growing inside of us. It’s not like we are becoming insensitive or anything but we only think of ourselves and our emotions sometimes. We thought we are right, but we made a mistakes tons of times.

If you begun to notice your toxic behavior, It’s time to unlearn them.

I was inspired to write about Unlearning Toxic Behavior to be a better person.

Here are some of my practices to help me Unlearn my Toxic Behaviors:

Practice Self Care

This is the most Important thing that we all should learn. When you are feeling anxious, upset and stressed, you did not pay more attention to your mental health and it will affect you emotional health. If you have emotional health problem, you can’t control your own emotions. This can trigger your mood and get mad and annoyed easily.

You should always understand that self care means different things to different people.

I advice that you should take care of yourself more often, don’t overworked and stay away from things that gives you stressed.

Control Your Behaviors

Be mindful of our own action. This one is also connected to Self Care. Sometimes we are being so full of ourself, we get silly, even too much confidence and then we do things we never realized that our behavior is getting to much to handle, a pain in the neck and we hurt or annoyed people around us. This can cause people to disliked us because of our too much confident of our behavior.

If your behavior can cause trouble, find someone you can talk to. Find a comfortable safe place in your head. Concentrate on things that calms you. You can even entertain yourself by watching Cartoons, Animated Film or Reading a book with positive vibes to give off . Write everything you feel and your thoughts in your journal. We are complex creatures and sometimes we don’t understand ourselves.

Anger Management and Controlling Your Words

Sometimes because of our Anger, we blurt out things that we didn’t mean to say but it’s too late to take it back. If someone did the same thing to you, you’ll fell helpless and hurt as well. If their words are too much for you to handle, you can tell them how you really feel. And if you did the same thing to them, always listen to what they say.

Sticks and stones can’t break a bones but words are like knives that stabs a million times.

Learn to Forgive and Move On

If someone ever did wrong to you, just forget about it and move on. Don’t seek for revenge and forgive them instead. Have you heard? There’s nothing more powerful than showing forgiveness and grace to someone.

Forgiveness is the best revenge, everyone should say.

Always remember that we are only human and we are not supposed perfect. We are supposed to be real. But our Toxic Behavior is not an exemption. Be yourself but that better version of your own. People sees us based of our actions. So Learn to Unlearn the Toxic Behavior of our own.
